PHONE: (972) 562-2601 Lowell Lee Brooks June 3, 1962 - April 7, 2012 Lowell Lee Brooks, age 49, of Allen, Texas passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012. He was born June 3, 1962 in Dallas, Texas to Larry Duane Brooks and Frankaleen (Bushfield) Brooks. Lowell grew up in Garland, where he graduated from North Garland High School in 1980. He received his bachelor degree in engineering in 1984 from Texas A&M University where he met his wife, Carol Ann Hartzog. They were married on March 22, 1986 in Rio Hondo, Texas. Lowell worked for Motorola Solutions as a systems engineer. He loved life and had an interest in many things, but spending time with his family was the most important to him. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Allen. He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Brooks, of Allen, Texas; children, Samantha Brooks of Austin, Texas, Ethan Brooks of Austin, Texas and Addie Brooks of Allen, Texas; parents, Larry and Frankie Brooks of Celina, Texas; brother, Steve Brooks of Lewisville, Texas and a host of other family and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 13, 2012, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Mary Martin officiating. A remembrance gathering will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson- Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas. DARLENE D. LUNDEEN, APRIL 14, 2012 Lowell was such a wonderful cousin; he was someone that I looked forward to visiting with every time he came up to Oklahoma. He had an amazing zest for life, and was so pleasant to talk to, everyone loved being around him. Lowell was a favorite of mine, I so enjoyed talking to him about airplanes and all the gadgets that he would bring up with him. He truly was an uplifting, jovial and charismatic individual who we all loved so very much. Larry, Plinky, Carol Ann, Sam, Ethan, and Addie your son, husband and father was someone I looked up to my entire life. He will be greatly missed and was one of a kind. You are in my thoughts and prayers and my heart goes out to each one of you. Please know that I tried everything I could to be there.
