And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of od should come, he answered them, and said, The kingdom of od cometh not with observation; Neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, Lo, there! For, behold, the kingdom of od has already come unto you. DC 94:5a,b. And now, behold, if Zion do these things, she shall prosper and spread herself and become very glorious, very great, and very terrible; and the nations of the earth shall honor her, and shall say, Surely Zion is the city of our od; and surely Zion can not fall, neither be moved out of her place, for od is there, and the hand of the Lord is there, and he hath sworn by the power of his might to be her salvation, and her high tower; Romans 14:17. For the kingdom of od is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy host. DC 98:4g. Zion shall not be moved out of her place, notwithstanding her children are scattered, they that remain and are pure in heart shall return and come to their inheritances; they and their children, with songs of everlasting joy; to build up the waste places of Zion. And all these things, that the prophets might be fulfilled. Daniel 2:44 45. And in the days of these kings shall the od of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great od hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter; and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. DC 65:1b. The keys of the kingdom of od are committed unto man on the earth, and from thence shall the gospel roll forth unto the ends of the earth, as the stone which is cut out of the mountain without hands shall roll forth, until it has filled the whole earth; DC 57: 1a d. Hearken, O ye elders of my church saith the Lord your od, who have assembled yourselves together, according to my commandments, in this land which is the land of Missouri, which is the land which I have appointed and consecrated for the gathering of the Saints: wherefore this is the land of promise, and the place for the city of Zion Behold, the place which is now called Independence, is the Center Place, and the spot for the temple is lying westward upon a lot which is not far from the courthouse; DC 98:4g. Zion shall not be moved out of her place, notwithstanding her children are scattered, they that remain and are pure in heart shall return and come to their inheritances; they and their children, with songs of everlasting joy; to build up the waste places of Zion. The Kingdom and Zion in the Book of Mormon Kingdom Righteousness And they were married, and given in marriage, and were blessed according to the multitude of the promises which the Lord had made unto them. And they did not walk any more after the performances and ordinances of the Law of Moses, but they did walk after the commandments which they had received from their Lord and their od, continuing in fasting and prayer, and in meeting together oft, both to pray and to hear the word of the Lord. Peace And it came to pass that there was no contention in the land, because of the love of od which did dwell in the hearts of the people. And there were no envyings, nor strifes, nor tumults, nor whoredoms, nor lyings, nor murders, nor any manner of lasciviousness; Joy And surely there could not be a happier people among all the people who had been created by the hand of od: There were no robbers, nor murderers, neither were there Lamanites, nor any manner of ites; but they were in one, the children of Christ, and heirs to the kingdom of od; IV Nephi 1:12 13, 17 20 Zion Nevertheless, when they shall have received the fullness of my gospel, then if they shall harden their hearts against me, I will return their iniquities upon their own heads, saith the Father. And I will remember the covenant which I have made with my people, and I have covenanted with them, that I would gather them together in mine own due time; That I would give unto them again the land of their fathers, for their inheritance, which is the land of Jerusalem, which is the promised land unto them for ever, saith the Father. And it shall come to pass that the time cometh when the fullness of the gospel shall be preached unto [my people] And then shall be brought to pass that which is written, Awake, awake again, and put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city, III Nephi 9:66 74 And verily, I say unto you, I give unto you a sign, that ye may know the time when these things shall be about to take place, that I shall gather in from their long dispersion, my people, O house of Israel, and shall establish again among them my Zion. And when these things come to pass, that thy seed shall begin to know these things, it shall be a sign unto them, that they may know that the work of the Father hath already commenced unto the fulfilling of the covenant which he hath made unto the people who are of the house of Israel.
