WE SING PRAISES TO GOD How Great Thou Art O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made I see the stars I hear the rolling thunder Thy pow'r thru'out the universe displayed Then sings my soul, My Savior God to Thee! How great Thou art, How great Thou art! Then sings my soul, My Savior God to Thee! How great Thou art, How great Thou art! How great Thou art! And when I think that God, His Son not sparing, Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in. That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin. When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation And take me home what joy shall fill my heart. Then I shall bow ln humble adoration And there proclaim, my God how great Thou art Stuart Wesley Keene Hine 1949 and 1953 Manna Music, Inc., Stuart Hine Trust. Administration: U.S.A. WE BRING GOD S TITHES & OUR OFFERINGS SHEPHERDING PRAYER Mark Saeger, Ruling Elder SCRIPTURE READING Acts 6:1 7 Now in these days when the disciples were increasing in number, a complaint by the Hellenists arose against the Hebrews because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution. 2 And the twelve summoned the full number of the disciples and said, It is not right that we should give up preaching the word of God to serve tables. 3 Therefore, brothers, pick out from among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint to this duty. 4 But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word. 5 And what they said pleased the whole gathering, and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolaus, a proselyte of Antioch. 6 These they set before the apostles, and they prayed and laid their hands on them. 7 And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.
WE SING A SONG OF CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE Just as I Am, Without One Plea Trinity Hymnal #501 Just as I am, without one plea But that Thy blood was shed for me, And that thou bidd st me come to Thee, Just as I am, and waiting not To rid my soul of one dark blot, To Thee, whose blood can cleanse each spot, Just as I am, though tossed about With many a conflict, many a doubt, Fightings and fears with-in, without, Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind; Sight, riches, healing of the mind, Yea, all I need, in Thee to find, Just as I am, thou wilt receive, Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve; Because Thy promise I believe, Just as I am, Thy love unknown Has broken ev ry barrier down; Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone, Charlotte Elliot Public Domain CCLI License # 237793
COVENANTAL BAPTISM Isaiah Mark Henry Saeger PREACHING OF THE WORD Jesse York, Pastor Deacons 1 Timothy 3:8 13 Deacons likewise must be dignified, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain. 9 They must hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 And let them also be tested first; then let them serve as deacons if they prove themselves blameless. 11 Their wives likewise must be dignified, not slanderers, but sober-minded, faithful in all things. 12 Let deacons each be the husband of one wife, managing their children and their own households well. 13 For those who serve well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.
