PRAYING THE LIFE OF CHRIST THROUGH THE ROSARY

Transcription:

PRAY For RC campaign for the renewal OF REGNUM CHRISTI Exposition of The Blessed Sacrament and Adoration The priest or deacon exposes the Blessed Sacrament for exposition for the process of revision and the fruits of the Regnum Christi General Statute Lord Jesus Christ, we are gathered here today as a spiritual family and we put ourselves in your loving presence. You have revealed to us the undying and ardent mystery of your love. You have revealed your constant desire to reign in our hearts and in the hearts of all men and women. We feel the calling to deepen our understanding of the gift of Regnum Christi and its gifts in our lives. We ask that you send the Holy Spirit, so that through His light we can understand and love our charism and so that we may be always diligent to help our Church and the world around us as disciples of your Kingdom. Through the caring example of our Mother, the Virgin Mary, help us to live this period of our lives as a spiritual family, discovering and accepting your will with faith and with ever increasing gratitude for the wonders you have given us. Lord, You are the center of our lives. With a new and ardent love, we say: Christ our King! Thy Kingdom Come! Biblical reading Eph 4,1:6 Therefore I, the prisoner of Christ, invite you to live the vocation you have received. Be humble, kind, patient, and bear with one another in love. Make every effort to keep among you the unity of Spirit through bonds of peace. Let there be one body and one spirit, for God, in calling you, gave the same Spirit to all. One Lord, one faith, one baptism. One God, the Father of all, who is above all and works through all and is in all.

O, sweetest Jesus, You who, hidden under the veil of the Eucharist, listen in mercy to our humble prayers, to present them at the throne of the Most High, accept now in your kindness the yearnings of our hearts. Enlighten our understanding, sustain our wills, strengthen our fidelity, and enkindle in our hearts a holy enthusiasm, so that, overcoming our limits and conquering every difficulty, we may be able to render to you a homage that is less unworthy of your greatness and of your majesty, and more in tune with our anxieties and with our holy desires. Amen (Pius XII) Invocations R/. Lord Jesus, grant us the gift of unity. The Congregation repeats: Lord Jesus, grant us the gift of unity. 1. That we may deeply love each other. R/. 2. That we may radiate the love with which you love us. R/. 3. That we may always seek what favors peace. R/. 4. That comprehension and reconciliation may shine in our lives R/. 5. That by being one, as you in the Father and the Father in you, the world may believe. R/. We adore You, Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Father, send us the Holy Spirit that Jesus promised us. He will guide us to unity. He is the One who gives the charisms, who works variety in the Church, and it is He who brings about unity. Send us the Holy Spirit, that He may teach us all that Jesus taught us and that He may give us the memory of what Jesus said. Jesus, Lord, You asked for us all the grace of unity in this Church which is yours, not ours. History has divided us.

Jesus, help us to go on the path of unity or of reconciled diversity. Lord, You always do what you promise. Give us the unity. (Pope Francis) Biblical Reading Jn 16, 12:14 I still have many things to tell you, but you cannot bear them now. When he, the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into the whole truth. He has nothing to say of himself but he will speak of what he hears, and he will tell you of the things to come. He will take what is mine and make it known to you Be close to me still, Lord. Keep your hand on my head, but let me also hold up my head under your hand. Take me as I am, with my defects, with my sins, but let me become what You wish me to become and what I too wish me to become. (John Paul I) Invocations R/. Come, Holy Spirit! The Congregation repeats: Come, Holy Spirit! 1. Give us an open heart so that we may embrace the novelty of the Gospel in the life of the Movement. R/. 2. Give us light so that we may understand our charism more deeply with our minds and our hearts. R/. 3. Give us the grace of discernment so that we may recognize your voice in this moment of our history. R/ 4. Give us total trust in your loving plan for Regnum Christi. R/. 5. Give us a humble heart so that we may hear your invitation to life in all its fullness. R/.

Come, Holy Spirit, come. And from your celestial home Shed a ray of light divine. Come, Father of the poor. Come, source of all our store. Come, within our bosoms shine. You, of comforters the best; You, the soul s most welcome guest; Sweet refreshment here below; In our labor, rest most sweet; Grateful coolness in the heat; Solace in the midst of woe. O most blessed Light divine, Shine within these hearts of yours, And our inmost being fill. Where you are not, we have naught, Nothing good in deed or thought, Nothing free from taint of ill. Heal our wounds, our strength renew; On our dryness pour your dew; Wash the stains of guilt away: Bend the stubborn heart and will; Melt the frozen, warm the chill; Guide the steps that go astray. On the faithful, who adore And confess you, evermore In your sevenfold gift descend; Give them virtue s sure reward; Give them your salvation, Lord; Give them joys that never end. (Pentecost Sequence)

Biblical Reading Mt 28, 16:20 As for the eleven disciples, they went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw Jesus, they bowed before him, although some doubted. Then Jesus approached them and said, I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples from all nations. Baptize them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to fulfill all that I have commanded you. I am with you always until the end of this world. Like the two disciples in the Gospel, we pray You, Lord Jesus: Stay with us! You, divine Street-guide, expert on our roads, You who know our heart, do not leave us prisoners of the darkness. Support us when we are tired, pardon our sins, direct our steps along the path of goodness. In the Eucharist, You have made yourself the medicine of immortality; give us the taste for a life which is full, to make us walk on this earth as pilgrims full of confidence and joy, gazing always at the goal of the life which has no end. (John Paul II) R/. Hear us, Lord Jesus, and have mercy. Invocations The Congregation repeats: Hear us, Lord Jesus, and have mercy. 1. Make us your faithful followers and preachers of the Gospel. R/. 2. Make us witnesses to your truth and your doctrine. R/. 3. Make us apostles willing to make your Kingdom present in the world. R/. 4. Mold all the members of Regnum Christi into a community of apostles. R/. 5. Make us catalysts of communion in the Movement and in the Church. R/.

Mary, Virgin and Mother, you who, moved by the Holy Spirit, welcomed the word of life in the depths of your humble faith: as you gave yourself completely to the Eternal One, help us to say our own yes to the urgent call, as pressing as ever, to proclaim the good news of Jesus. Filled with Christ s presence, you brought joy to John the Baptist, making him exult in the womb of his mother. Brimming over with joy, you sang of the great things done by God. Standing at the foot of the cross with unyielding faith, you received the joyful comfort of the resurrection, and joined the disciples in awaiting the Spirit so that the evangelizing Church might be born. Obtain for us now a new ardour born of the resurrection, that we may bring to all the Gospel of life which triumphs over death. Give us a holy courage to seek new paths, that the gift of unfading beauty may reach every man and woman. Virgin of listening and contemplation, Mother of love, Bride of the eternal wedding feast, pray for the Church, whose pure icon you are, that she may never be closed in on herself or lose her passion for establishing God s kingdom. Star of the new evangelization, help us to bear radiant witness to communion, service, ardent and generous faith, justice and love of the poor, that the joy of the Gospel may reach to the ends of the earth, illuminating even the fringes of our world. Mother of the living Gospel, wellspring of happiness for God s little ones, pray for us. (Pope Francis)
