For with God all things are possible. Mark 10:27 Introduction Thank you for downloading The Wilderness Journal. Seed Offerings are greatly appreciated. Offerings help The Training Solution continue to provide outstanding Community Outreach. The Wilderness Journal is a 14-day self-exploration that provides a way to assess your life in a manner that is not too preachy, yet includes the Holy Scripture, not too head s in the sky, yet provides positive spiritual affirmations. In a world that has become so noisy and at times overbearing, it is necessary to step away from the chaos and take time to inventory your honest thoughts. The practice of writing in your journal will allow you to be real about where you stand at the present time. By keeping a journal, documenting your current state of mind and situation, you can ensure that you are on the best possible, positive path to achieve your goals. Some minor or major adjustments may have to be made to get you there; however by taking the first step and acknowledging successes as well as mishaps, blessed moments as well as storms, perceptions and misconceptions, and achievements as well as obstacles, signals that you are well on your way to Vision. Growth. Progress! After you have noted your thoughts and perceptions you may want to revisit your entries at a later date. It is my prayer that by the completion of The Wilderness Journal you will see and feel the need for God s constant presence. Hopefully, this experience will bring forth enlightenment and clarity while helping you to build a solid foundation built upon biblical and spiritual principles. Remember, that Jesus too had a wilderness experience. (Matthew 4) After Jesus, succeeded in his trial, he began to preach. The Wilderness Experience is just one point in your life s journey. Although it may be tough walking it out, look forward to the wonderful times ahead, as you can, with God, make it through stronger, wiser, and more confident. Please enjoy The Wilderness Journal and all that it has to offer! Thank you again for your prayers, offerings, wonderful testimonials, and helping The Training Solution to grow. Truth, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding I pray unto you. Sincerely, Stephanie K. Spear Prophetess 3

Journal Tips & Instructions Biblical Vibrations: Please remember to read the entire chapter of the listed biblical vibration = scripture = Genesis 1:1 when you have a chance. To get the maximum benefit from The Wilderness Journal, reading the entire biblical vibration is paramount. Affirmations or Prayers: The affirmations and prayers listed were derived from my personal Prayer Journal. These affirmations, prayers and biblical vibrations combined with journal notes can open your eyes to personal truths that no mirror can adequately reflect. The mirror shows the outside, but the revelations received from keeping a journal reflect the internal. In the same manner Jesus told the Pharisee s of his time in Matthew 23:26 to first clean the inside of your cup, and then the outside will also be clean. Thoughts for the day is your own personal open mike. Feel free to let your words flow. Be sure to include what has happened in your day, your triumphs or frustrations, general thoughts, perceptions, or even plans. The following is one example of how you can utilize your Wilderness Journal to document your thoughts, feelings, and prayers. Don t Cry for Me As times became rough, time and times again, facing obstacles that made my shell tough Looking Up, then bowing my head, calling on God i would cry, here Lord, here i am. So don t cry for me, please don t cry for me. When the world rejected me, I looked up, held out my hands and asked God to be my best friend. So now when i cry, God says here baby, here I AM. So don t cry for me, please don t cry for me. I looked back to see how far i ve come, but now fearing turning into salt as Lot s wife, I look forward in the light of God. So don t cry for me. Lift up prayers and thank God that He delivered me. By Prophetess Stephanie Spear 2008 The Bible Study Notes section should be utilized for noting any thoughts or ideas conceived during your bible study. If you are lead to other biblical vibrations, please feel free to note them as well. You will be amazed at how this simple bible study will help you to put your thoughts for the day into proper perspective. Suggestion: To start your off day with a positive outlook, take ~ 3 minutes to read the noted biblical vibrations & affirmations or prayers aloud. Before going to sleep take ~30 minutes to note your thoughts for the day and to read the entire chapter of the biblical vibration. Suggested Investment: The New Student Bible; Expanded and Updated. Zondervan Publishing House. ISBN: 0-310-90917-1 Now let s get ready to Journal!!! 4

Day 1 Biblical Vibration: Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness he called night. And there was evening, and there was morning the first day. (NIV) Thoughts for the Day Affirmation or Prayer: I seek a personal relationship with God. Bible Study Notes 5

Day 2 Thoughts for the Day Biblical Vibration: 1 Peter 2:24 He himself (Jesus) bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. (NIV) Affirmation or Prayer: God will take good care of me. Bible Study Notes 6

Day 3 Thoughts for the Day Biblical Vibration: Isaiah 12:2-3 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. (NIV) Affirmation or Prayer: I will listen, consider, and then speak words in truth. Bible Study Notes 7

Day 4 Thoughts for the Day Biblical Vibration: Isaiah 49:13 Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones. (NIV) Affirmation or Prayer: Thank you God for every good thing. I will be optimistic. I will nurture positive thoughts. Bible Study Notes 8

Thoughts for the Day Day 5 Biblical Vibration: Psalm 25:5 Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. (NIV) Affirmation or Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to live a life that is more pleasing to You. Bible Study Notes 9

Day 6 Biblical Vibration: Proverb 6:16-19 There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community. (NIV) Affirmation or Prayer: I am special. All the negative and untruthful ideas the world has indoctrinated me to believe I release from my conscientious, words, and actions. Thoughts for the Day Bible Study Notes 10

Day 7 Biblical Vibration: Proverbs 16:1-3 To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the proper answer of the tongue. All a person s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the LORD. Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. (NIV) Thoughts for the Day Affirmation or Prayer: Heavenly Father, cleanse me and make my heart right before thee. Bible Study Notes 11

Day 8 Biblical Vibration: Proverbs 17:27 The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered. (NIV) Affirmation or Prayer: Thank you for deliverance God. Please give me the strength, self-control, knowledge and discipline needed to walk in your holy light; blameless and in a positive manner. Thoughts for the Day Bible Study Notes 12

DAY 9 Biblical Vibration: Ephesians 1:17-18 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people (NIV) Affirmation or Prayer: God created me to be wonderful and marvelous! Today I choose people, activities, words, and works that will be productive; promoting positive goals, connections, and success. Thoughts for the Day Bible Study Notes 13

DAY 10 Biblical Vibration: Psalm 130:4-6 But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you. I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. I wait for the Lord. (NIV) Affirmation or Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to be a forgiving person. Where forgiveness should be given let me recognize it; however, when I should walk away, give me clarity and peace. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. Thoughts for the Day Bible Study Notes 14

Self-Reflection Application: Inventory your Thoughts Biblical Vibration: John 16:12-13 I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. Affirmation or Prayer for Wisdom: Heavenly Father, please help to me see the truth in every situation, Your truth, knowing that this knowledge will lead to wisdom and a better life. Instruction: Please review 1 10 and write a summary of your thoughts. Summary 15

Walking by faith Biblical Vibration: Matthew 6 The Lord's Prayer "Our Father which art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, On earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; & forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory. Amen." (NIV) Affirmation or Prayer of Surrender: Today I choose the Heavenly Father s plan for my life. God s will be done. Testimonial: Ministry has led me to several people who love God and pray to God for guidance in every aspect of their lives. These people trust God and pray constantly; however, every last one them was unsure, to a certain degree, of how God was answering their prayers. The following Enrichment Application is designed to first, slow down the prayer laundry-list, and to in essence be still. Sometimes God has answered us but since we have prayed so many similar and yet contrasting prayers we do not fully understand the answers provided. Enrichment Application INSTRUCTION: For the next 4 days, only pray The Lord s Prayer. Every time you open your mouth to pray, speak The Lord s Prayer. If you begin to feel restricted recite one of your favorite biblical vibrations, affirmations or prayers located within The Wilderness Journal. Utilize the following Prayer Journal to document how you believe God has answered your prayers. You will be amazed at what happens when you stop telling God what you want and allow Him to give you what you need. When we realize how God answers us, even if it takes time, we can move forward with confidence and clarity. Jesus says that God already knows what we need... This Walking by Faith application was designed to help strengthen and build upon your faith in God and His Holy Word. Prayer Journal Day 1: 17

Day 2: Day 3: Day 4: 18

Self-Reflection: Walking by faith Instruction: Please answer the following questions. 1. By only praying the selected prayers do you see a difference in your life? Explain either way. 2. Do you feel that you have more clarity in your life? If so, what has become clearer? 3. Did you feel restricted? Did you feel relieved? What feelings do you have now regarding this experience? What will you take from this experience and what will you leave behind. 19

Introspection Application: Seeing is believing Biblical Vibration: Proverbs 29:10 Where there is no vision, the people perish. (NIV) INSTRUCTION: Mark your calendar for 30-days after completing Walking by faith. Note that date here:. On this day, please read over your journal entries and give your current perspective of what you have written. Be sure to note what has remained the same and what has changed. If there are any changes in your mindset or perception, please note what brought about these revelations. For example, a specific instance could be something a coworker or friend said that brought forth an ah ha moment. Their words in relation to your entries may have brought forth great clarity. Summary: 20

Introspection Application: Assessing Your Journey Biblical Vibration: Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom s instruction. (NIV) Instruction: Please answer the following questions. 1. What have you learned about yourself from re-evaluating your journal entries? 2. Have you seen any of your ideas, thoughts, or prayers manifest? 3. How has this journal helped you to improve your life? 4. What has happened in your life since completing The Wilderness Journal? 21

For with God all things are possible. Mark 10:27 Congratulations! You have just completed The Wilderness Journal. Hopefully it has provided you with valuable insight as to how you can move forward in God s Will, secure in His grace and mercy. It took the Israelites 40 years to make it out of the Wilderness, and then only two, Joshua and Caleb made it. Jesus spent 40 days in the Wilderness. When Jesus passed the test, he came out preaching. Your calling may not to be a preacher, but God does have a call on your life. Claim the Victory! Just as Joshua, Caleb, and Jesus made it through you can too. You have taken the initial steps. You are on your way to the Promised Land. Pray and ask God to give you a vision of the land He has promised for you, if you are obedient to Him. Please continue the practice of bible study and writing in your journal. They along with prayer will help you to grow in your faith walk and help you to achieve your goals. May God be your guide, provider, protector, and strength. Praise be to the Heavenly Father!
