Studies have shown that prayer and meditation can accelerate healing. You can use prayers invoking the violet flame along with conventional or alternative healing methods to assist with the healing process. [Note: Please understand that the violet flame is not intended to replace regular medical diagnosis or to be used as a substitute for medical care.] This exercise invites you to visualize the violet flame transforming areas of disease and pain into areas of health and vitality. If visualization is difficult for you, just think about the words of the affirmations as you say them. Step 1: Preparation Choose a health problem (yours or someone else s) into which you will direct the violet flame. This can be an injury, a disease or an area of physical or emotional tension. Or, if you are in good health, you can give the exercise to enhance your well-being. You may want to have a picture of (1) the area of the body or organ into which you will direct the healing light of the violet flame or (2) the person whose healing you are praying for.
Step 2: Centering Go within and consciously draw all your attention and energy to the point of your heart. You may want to place your hand over your heart to help focus your attention there. Breathe deeply several times until you feel calm and centered. Step 3: Opening prayer Give the following prayer out loud: By the power of the light and love within my heart, I ask that the violet flame be directed into the following condition:. [name the specific condition for which you desire healing] Step 4: Visualization Concentrate on the picture of the violet flame. Close your eyes and see this image in your mind. See the violet flame surrounding and interpenetrating your heart. Direct the violet flame from your heart into the condition you have named. (Here you can use the picture you chose in step 1. Place your left hand over your heart and your
right hand over the picture. Visualize violet flame going from your heart through your right palm into the problem area.) See the violet flame dissolving all disease and restoring harmony and health.
Step 5: Affirmations As you hold this image, give the following affirmations for several minutes. Say them out loud, rhythmically and energetically. I AM the violet flame In action in me now I AM the violet flame To light alone I bow I AM the violet flame In mighty cosmic power I AM the Light of God Shining every hour I AM the violet flame Blazing like a sun I AM God s sacred power Freeing every one I AM God s perfection manifest In body, mind and soul I AM God s direction flowing To heal and keep me whole! O atoms, cells, electrons Within this form of mine, Let heaven s own perfection Make me now divine!
Step 6: Closing prayer Give the following prayer out loud: I am grateful, O God, for the release of light into my being. I ask that the action of the violet flame be expanded to heal and comfort all those in need. Please protect me and all who are serving the light. Let my prayers and affirmations be fulfilled according to your holy will. Many people need healing, but healing can be elusive. Sometimes we ve pursued every conventional and alternative cure and diet and we still can t rid ourselves of a stubborn condition. It may be because we haven t eradicated the underlying cause at the energetic level. Problems with health and psychology often exist because the flow of spiritual energy is blocked. This may be the result of negative thoughts, feelings and actions or, in other words, negative karma. But we can learn to transmute the negative energy responsible for the outer manifestation of disease and other physical, mental or spiritual imbalances, by using a method that dissolves
the underlying negative karma. This is the way true healing takes place. This method involves using spoken affirmations and visualizations of the violet flame, a powerful form of light-energy that is able to consume the karmic causes behind negative effects. The violet flame is as real as the light people have reported seeing in neardeath experiences. In fact, it is one aspect of that same light. Its use can be a valuable supplement to medical treatment and can add a new dimension to any spiritual path. Affirmations beginning with I AM are commonly used to achieve positive effects. I AM is an abbreviated form of the name of God as given to Moses: I AM THAT I AM. So when we say I AM, we are really saying God in me is. Visualization has been shown to enhance achievement in everything from sports to public speaking. Affirmations and visualizations of the violet flame are an extremely effective form of spiritual work. But don t take it on faith! Experiment with the violet flame for yourself by giving these affirmations and visualizations for yourself or for someone you love.
I broke my leg and had screws put in it. When the screws were taken out, I did a lot of violet flame for my healing. I went back just to have the dressing changed, and my leg was already completely healed. Penelope A cautionary note about the use of the violet flame in healing: Our prayers are always answered, but perhaps not in the way we expect. The answer may come in the form of guidance to do something that will help you achieve what you have prayed for. Or it may come in the form of comfort and understanding to someone burdened by an illness, though that illness may not be cured. It could be that the person you re praying for has an important lesson to learn by bearing the burden of the illness.
