Welcomes you to your Sabbath Service! Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. Mark 2:27, 28 And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath. תרומה Offering Terumah Heave Exodus 25:1 27:19 / 1 Kings 4:29-6:13 / Mark 10,11 Pastor Mark Biltz 03/04/2017 Adar 06, 5777 During service we take a 20 minute break at approximately 10:50AM. The 2 nd part of the service starts with worship and is followed with the conclusion of the teaching. Please return quietly & promptly in respect of the sanctuary. Thank you! Exodus 24:9,10 Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up. They saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was like a paved work of sapphire stone, like the skies for clearness. Exodus 24:12,13 The LORD said to Moses, Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the tables of stone with the law and the commands that I have written, that you may teach them. Moses rose up with Joshua, his servant, and Moses went up onto God s Mountain. Exodus 24:16 The glory of the LORD settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. The seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. Mark 9:1-4 He said to them, Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see the Kingdom of God come with power. After six days Yeshua took with him Peter, Jacob, and Yochanan, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them. His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them. Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Yeshua. Mark 9:7 A cloud came, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, This is my beloved Son. Listen to him. Exodus 24:17 The appearance of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel. Matthew 17:1,2 After six days, Yeshua took with him Peter, Jacob, and Yochanan his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain by themselves He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light. Matthew 16:13 Now when Yeshua came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am? Matthew 16:27,28 For the Son of Man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will render to everyone according to his deeds. Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste of death, until they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom. Matthew 23:37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not! Exodus 25:1,2 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering of every man that gives it willingly with his heart you shall take my offering. Exodus 25:9 According to all that I show you, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it. Exodus 26:3-5 The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another. And you shall make loops of blue on the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shall you make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second. Fifty loops shall you make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shall you make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another. Exodus 25:8 And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. 2

1Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Messiah, and members individually. 1Peter 2:4-6 Coming to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious. You also, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Yeshua the Messiah. Because it is contained in Scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen, and precious: He who believes in him will not be disappointed. 2Timothy 2:20,21 Now in a large house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of clay. Some are for honor, and some for dishonor. If anyone therefore purges himself from these, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, and suitable for the master s use, prepared for every good work. Exodus 25:8 they were to build a sanctuary Amos 7:4-9 Thus the Lord GOD showed me and behold, the Lord GOD called for judgment by fire; and it dried up the great deep, and would have devoured the land. Then I said, Lord GOD, stop, I beg you! How could Jacob stand? For he is small. The LORD relented concerning this. This also shall not be, says the Lord GOD. Thus he showed me and behold, the Lord stood beside a wall made by a plumb line, with a plumb line in his hand. The LORD said to me, Amos, what do you see? I said, A plumb line. Then the Lord said, Behold, I will set a plumb line in the midst of my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more. The high places of Isaac will be desolate, the sanctuaries of Israel will be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword. Exodus 29:46 And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the Lord their God. Psalm 118:16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted (lifted up); the right hand of the LORD does valiantly. Psalm 51:3,4 For I know my transgressions. My sin is constantly before me. Against you, and you only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in your sight; that you may be proved right when you speak, and justified when you judge. Psalm 51:11-13 Don t throw me from your presence, and don t take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways. Sinners shall be converted to you. Numbers 11:26 But two men remained in the camp. The name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: 3

and the Spirit rested on them; and they were of those who were written, but had not gone out to the Tent; and they prophesied in the camp. The Difficulties of Salvation 1Peter 4:17,18 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Matthew 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Proverbs 24:16 For seven times doth the righteous fall and rise, Psalms 119:164,165 Seven times a day, I praise you, because of your righteous ordinances. Those who love your Torah have great peace. Nothing causes them to stumble. 1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1Timothy 1:15 The saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance, that Messiah Yeshua came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Where it is not: 1. The Father is personally unwilling to forgive without full vindictive satisfaction. Pouring his wrath out on Jesus. Isaiah 38:17 Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but you have in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for you have cast all my sins behind your back. 4

Jeremiah 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, said the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Jeremiah 38:17 Then said Jeremiah to Zedekiah, Thus said the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If you will assuredly go forth to the king of Babylon's princes, then your soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and you shall live, and your house: Micah 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion on us; he will subdue our iniquities; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. 2. We were too bad to be forgiven Romans 5:8 But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us. 3. Man s refusal to seek God in humility as a prerequisite before sending Jesus. Psalms 53:2,3 God looks down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there are any who understood, who seek after God. Every one of them has gone back. They have become filthy together. There is no one who does good, no, not one. 4. Humans are unable to repent more like unwilling Acts 3:19,20 Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send Messiah Yeshua, who was ordained for you before, 5. Any lack of provision made available by God Hebrews 2:2,3 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense; how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard; Is God only able to save us from the consequences of our sin but not the sin itself?! 6. It s not because He lacks the power: Psalm 29:4-9 The LORD s voice is powerful. The LORD s voice is full of majesty. The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars. Yes, the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young, wild ox. The LORD s voice strikes with flashes of lightning. The LORD s voice shakes the wilderness. The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. The LORD s voice makes the deer calve, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, Glory! 5

Romans 6:16 Don t you know that to whom you present yourselves as servants to obedience, his servants you are whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness? Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward your holy temple, and praise your name for your loving kindness and for your truth: for you have magnified your word above all your name. Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Jeremiah 2:9 Why I will yet plead with you, said the LORD, and with your children's children will I plead. Deuteronomy 11:26-28 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if you will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which you have not known. Romans 2:5-10 But after your hardness and impenitent heart treasure up to yourself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: But to them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: Why it is difficult 1.Free Will Problem God governs man through free will not coercion or cause and effect. The great difficulty arises in persuading us to make the right choices. To live for God and not to live unto ourselves supremely. Romans 6:16-18 Don t you know that to whom you present yourselves as servants to obedience, his servants you are whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness? But thanks be to God, that, whereas you were bondservants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching whereunto you were delivered. Being made free from sin, you became bondservants of righteousness. 2. The It s all about Me problem 1Timothy 2:3,4 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. 6

John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. 3. The Hypocrisy / Pride problem The truth of our profound guilt for our disobedience must be realized destroying our pride in our even thinking we can rescue ourselves without any help. James 4:6,7 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 4. The time urgency problem Hebrew 9:27 Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment, 5. A Messiah in you is needed also as the written regulations alone lacked the impetus for an overcoming spiritual life. Romans 8:1-7 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Messiah Yeshua, who don t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Messiah Yeshua made me free from the law of sin and of death. For what the law couldn t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh; that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace; because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God s law, neither indeed can it be. Colossians 1:27,28 to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Messiah in you, the hope of glory; whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Messiah Yeshua; The salvation of the sinner is impossible-when they continue to live in their sin. 1. Salvation is from sin Matthew 1:21 She shall bring forth a son. You shall call his name Yeshua, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins. 2. God cannot save someone against his or her will. Physical power over someone will not change the mind or heart. God s power had no problem getting Israel physically out of Egypt but there was no physical power able to get Egypt out of Israel. Salvation is not something physical 7

Matthew 23:37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not! 3. Heaven forbids you go there in your sins Revelation 21:27 There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb s book of life. 4. Sinners would never be comfortable in Heaven John 3:19,20 This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn t come to the light, lest his works would be exposed. 8
