Bach Argenta Walther, mezzo-soprano Let goodness, Lord, enable me to reach the heaven above, and crown with mercy there my plea, support me with your love. My fortress, shelter from despair, attend my word, receive my prayer; I humbly kneel before Thee. Call to Offering Leif Lind Offertory Serenity Charles Ives Argenta Walther, mezzo-soprano O Sabbath rest of Galilee! O calm of hills above, Where Jesus knelt to share with thee, the silence of eternity interpreted by love. Drop thy still dews of quietness, till all our strivings cease: Take from our souls the strain and stress, and let our ordered lives confess, the beauty of thy peace. (Unless otherwise marked, loose offering goes to local church expense) Scripture Reading Ephesians 1:3-6 Pamela Kermgard Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Dramatic Presentation Chosen Garment, the Whole Bible in One Act Steven Mosley Benediction (Please be seated after the benediction) Postlude Postlude Douglas Wagner e Whether you re a regular member or a visitor, we encourage you to continue to fellowship with our Church family after the worship service. Please also feel free to contact any of our pastoral staff (or fill out the Connection Card located in your pew holder) if you have questions or feedback, need a visit or help, or wish to assist in any way! e Today we welcome our guest speaker, Steven Mosley Steven Mosley has made the Bible come alive through the dramatic presentation, Chosen Garment, for Adventist churches across America since 2007. He was the writer and producer of the It Is Written program for many years, creating programs for George Vandeman and Mark Finley. Besides being the author of 12 books, he also wrote the revised version of the Discover Bible study guides that illustrate Adventist doctrines to people throughout the world. Today s presentation has been described by Amazon as a wild journey to the wonder of grace. In this dramatic presentation Steven Mosley takes you on a whirlwind tour of the Bible that s both humorous and deeply moving. Scripture becomes a breathtaking epic, highlighted by the garments of the patriarch, prophet and king. It comes to a climax in the Chosen Garment of Christ laid on our shoulders.

Church Life All are welcome whoever you are, whatever your journey or background. God excludes no one, and neither do we. Today is the final report from the Nominating Committee for 2017-2019. Please make sure to view it as it is printed in the bulletin. There will be a vote just before the worship service begins. Please take a minute after the service today to pray and tie a knot in the two quilts for the Kim family and Joey Kim, who is facing serious health issues. Campmeeting Worship, next Sabbath, August 26. Join us in honoring our Adventist roots with an old-fashion styled worship service. Dress cool and comfortable, and be prepared to sing! If you would like to generously make a contribution to this project in addition to your regular church giving, please mark your envelope Pastors Office. Get Ready to talk with our Ministry Leaders.
