HOW DO YOU LEAD YOUR PEOPLE TO SUSTAINED SIGNIFICANT, FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE?

Hi, we re Wellspring Group. We know that as a church leader you re concerned about the discipleship of the people God has entrusted to you. You long to see them grow, change and become vibrant contributors to the Kingdom. How do you carry out such a crucial task? Because everything we do comes from the heart, Wellspring Group focuses on developing whole hearted people who know the heart of God and their own hearts, and are equipped to engage others. We provide tracks for your discipleship and leader development to run on. Our process is practical, reproducible and will affect every aspect of the lives of your people. Take a look at what Wellspring Group can offer you, your leaders and your church. We would love to partner with you. Above all else guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. Proverbs 4:23 CHANGE FLOWS OUT OF THE HEART. Living out of a whole heart affects every area of life. Often we focus on specific arenas like finances, marriage or work to see change. At Wellspring, we believe that when the heart is changed, these areas of life are changed organically. My Wellspring experience has been transformational. It has taken me into the deepest portions of my own heart and enabled me to become a more loving husband, a more attentive leader, and a more vulnerable follower of Jesus. Eric Park, Senior Pastor of First United Methodist Church in Butler, Pennsylvania

CHANGE HAPPENS IN THE CONTEXT OF COMMUNITY. Transformation doesn t happen in isolation. It happens when we link arms and do battle together. That s why the Battle for the Heart process is built to be experienced in teams. Together, participants join the fight for a deeply personal understanding of God and His incredible love and grace. Community is not the end result: it s the pathway to significant, sustainable, fundamental change. True grace in community brings freedom freedom to take off masks, face our brokenness and take risks with one another. In community, the power of the Gospel penetrates our hearts and overflows into every area of our lives: family, friendships, work and church. EVENT NO. 1 EVENT NO. 2 BATTLE FOR THE HEART TEAM FOLLOW THROUGH BATTLE FOR YOUR DOMAIN TEAM FOLLOW THROUGH A series of interactive teaching sessions, facilitated team discussions, and personal reflection times introducing you to the framework for fighting for your heart After the retreat, go deeper with your team into knowing how to win the daily battle for your heart through reflections in scripture and weekly team meetings An intensive experience in authentic community, equipping you with the skills of fighting for the hearts of your team and those in your sphere of influence Personal reflections and weekly team meetings focus on overcoming obstacles that keep you from winning the battle for your heart and playing your part in God s larger story

CULTIVATING CHANGE THROUGH LEADERSHIP PARTNERING WITH PASTORS TO BUILD WHOLE HEARTED CHURCHES LEADING FROM WHOLENESS Because real change in a church starts with leaders, we come alongside leaders to help them discover their whole hearts, their part in God s Story, and their true identities in Christ. LEADING FROM THE HEART As men and women live out of their own hearts in the context of authentic community, they are able to lead in a way that is energizing, not draining. LEADING WITH DEPTH The Battle for the Heart facilitates connecting at a deeper relational level, empowering leaders to love one another deeply: mourn with those who mourn, rejoice with those who rejoice, and spur one another on to love and good deeds. LEADING WITH COMMUNITY Living in authentic community frees men and women to lead in the safety and security of who they are becoming in Christ. The Unfolding Story of OAK MOUNTAIN CHURCH In partnership with Wellspring Group, Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church is beginning to witness the congregational change they have longed to see for over 25 years. Men and women are experiencing the love and validation of God that is freeing them to become who they were created to be. The impact of this individual change is in turn influencing the church community as a whole. There has been a shift in the way that their leaders preach, teach and manage teams. LIFE Groups, marriages, and families are experiencing deeper connections. Ministry teams are handling challenges effectively. Leaders are multiplying as they pass their new knowledge and skills to incoming team members. The ripple effect has even impacted the greater Birmingham community, as men and women go to their workplaces and connect with their employees and coworkers on a heart level and reveal the gospel naturally and with integrity. Wellspring has provided us tracks to run on that are leading us to new places of repentance and new levels of hope in the Gospel of Grace. -Bob Flayhart
