State Building and Construction Trades Council of California Joins Smith's AD-38 Re-Match Bid LOS ANGELES, CA -- In another explosive display of her unyielding momentum, today Newhall School Board President Christy Smith scored a milestone endorsement from the State Building and Construction Trades Council of California, one of the state's powerhouse labor organizations, in her campaign for State Assembly District 38. In making their endorsement public, Robbie Hunter, President of the State Building and Construction Trades Council of California, stated: "California needs more common sense, pro-jobs, pro-middle class, pro-worker leaders fighting in Sacramento. That's why we're pleased to strongly endorse Christy Smith for State Assembly. She represents a bold force for good, and for a strong, thriving middle class. We know Christy will be an effective advocate for more family sustaining jobs, infrastructure investments, and an improved quality of life for working families. She has our strong support." Today's announcement follows Newhall School Board President Christy Smith's recent unveiling of her new digital video titled, "Our Movement." To view the ad, click here or on the screen shot below.
