Celebrate CHRIST Transform LIVES all year long transforming communities through Christ s love Help families rise above poverty and tangibly show them God s love.

Dear Friend, One expression of Christ s love for mankind while on earth was His care for the poor and rejected. What better way, then, for us to express His love but by caring for the poor and suffering in our world? Today, we you, me and all our brothers and sisters in Christ are the visible, tangible love of Jesus to this world, and this Christmas season presents a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate that love. That s what this catalogue is all about. By lifting families out of poverty, or by enabling our brothers and sisters to serve more effectively, we can see communities transformed by His love. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, college student or grade schooler, you can powerfully bless the world through your prayers and through the way you celebrate Christ s coming into the world. I encourage you, don t let this catalogue leave your hands without asking the Lord how He desires to work through you to impact lives this Christmas. May His blessings of peace and joy fill you and your family this Christmas season. In Him, K.P. Yohannan Founder and Director of GFA www.gfaau.org

Christmas Gift Provides Breakthrough This pig has financially helped us in many ways. [By selling piglets], we have bought a goat and chickens, which are also going to be another source of income for our family. We do not have any problems now to pay the school fees for our children and to meet all their needs in school.... We also have purchased roofing sheets to construct our house.... I thank God for all the blessings. Kanal The pig Kanal received at a Christmas gift distribution has had 18 piglets so far! Kanal even enjoyed the blessing of giving when she shared a piglet with a neighbor s family to help them start their own financial breakthrough. Kanal s family is one among hundreds of thousands who have been helped through gifts like the ones found in this catalogue. This Christmas, celebrate Jesus by making a lasting difference in people s lives! GFA Is Transforming Communities Through God s Love by: Equipping thousands of national workers Educating 80,000 children Freeing families from cycles of poverty Saving lives through clean water and medical care Uniting the Body of Christ in prayer The gifts in this catalogue are just some of many ways we are doing this!

Cheep Gift but Big Impact! The gift of chickens supplements a family s income and often helps a family get on its feet financially. Hungry families can eat or sell the nutritious eggs, or they can hatch chicks to increase their flock and later have more eggs and chicks to sell. These birds of a feather multiply quickly, taste just like chicken and are really cheep! Chickens 1501 $12 per pair 1300 889 339

Gifts from the Stable Go Ahead, Milk Em for All They re Worth Asheep s rich milk is an excellent source of calcium an essential nutrient for young children and makes delicious cheese. Income from selling milk or offspring can provide education, food, medical care or a multitude of other valuable needs for families. And healthier, stronger families mean healthier, stronger communities! Lamb 1505 $65 each Goats 1504 $140 per pair or $70 each Goats can rapidly improve a family s financial situation. In the case of one father, one pair of goats enabled him to start a goat farm with more than 75 goats to milk or sell. He built a house for his family and sent his children to school, offering them a better future than his parents were able to offer him when he was a child.

- I am so happy for God providing me these two piglets - I have already started thinking about what to do with these piglets - I will give them good food so that they grow big. In the future, they will give birth to several piglets. I am already seeing that these pigs will bring income to my family Laghuvi (pictured with one of her two pigs) These portly critters bring powerful financial breakthrough to needy families. Piglets fetch a good price in market, which enables families to buy whatever they need, and adult pigs provide ample meat for selling or eating. $65 per pair Pigs 1503 www.gfaau.org

Gifts from the Stable A gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving and giving and giving and giving and giving and giving and giving and giving and B unnies are adorable, but the income they provide gives families even more reasons to smile. Rabbits multiply quickly, providing lean meat and plenty of bunnies to sell. One widow s pair of rabbits meant she and her son could have more than just one meal a day and a joy they had never known before! Rabbits 1502 $12 per pair

Plough a Field, Haul a Cart, Give Some Milk, Make Some Fuel Water buffalo are powerful animals often used to plough fields.they produce milk for drinking or selling, and their dung can be used as fuel for cooking. A water buffalo will greatly improve a family s financial situation! Water Buffalo 1507 $540 Cow 1506 $440 Cows and the milk they produce help families grow stronger, healthier and more financially secure. This cow will give birth, then I can get milk from this cow. I will sell the milk to the milk factory to get money for the expenses of my family. My children will also have milk to drink. This cow will be really an amazing gift for our living. Thank you. 1300 889 339

Go Tell It on the Mountain! Bicycles given to national workers save them time and energy, enabling them to minister to more people and to visit believers they disciple more often. Other bicycles help break the cycle of poverty by enabling parents to find jobs in more distant places or by making it possible for students to travel to their remote schools. Bicycle 1010 $130 winter clothing pack. Cold A weather doesn t have to slow a national missionary. Keep him sharing God s love through the gift of a winter clothing packet. You can also bless freezing families with this gift. Winter Clothing Pack 1401 $45 Amotorcycle enables a pastor to serve distant fellowships, giving people the leadership, counsel and prayer they need to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Motorcycle 1012 $1,200 Give a Portion: $120 www.gfaau.org

Gifts for Ministry For many people in Asia, a piece of Gospel literature or radio broadcast are the first step in their journey of knowing Jesus. Oftentimes, Gospel literature will be read aloud to others who are illiterate or passed on to someone else who will read it and pass it on to yet another person. Gospel Tracts 1100 1000 tracts - $10 Radio Broadcast 2200 $55 for 15 minutes $220 for 1 hour Man Does Not Live by Bread Alone Many believers in Asia are firstgeneration believers who grew up knowing nothing of God s ways, and they re hungry for His Word. Your donation to GFA Bible Society gives people in Asia their own Bibles or New Testaments and helps them grow in their knowledge of God and walk more closely with Him. Bibles 1102 $25 pack of 7

A Livelihood and the Love of Christ Sewing machines mend broken lives. Romila (pictured) could hardly believe her eyes when she received a sewing machine. Lack of education hindered her ability to help her husband provide for their family, but now with her new income from sewing clothes, they can easily pay for their rent and have plenty left over for additional expenses. The hopelessness and poverty that hung over Romila s family lifted, and through this timely help, she and her husband realised God cared for them. Sewing Machine 1521 $100 1300 889 339

Gifts for the Poor Fishing Net 1528 Pull carts enable families to carry their wares wherever potential customers gather. Pullcart recipients are able to grow their existing business or even start a new business! Pull Cart 1526 $135 $25 T ool kits include items such as axes, shovels, saws, plows, sickles and crowbars. Having the right tools increases a farmer s productivity. Their fields can yield more, increasing a farmer s income and ability to provide food, clothing, shelter and a better life for their family. Tool Kit 1520 $95

Thatch roofs are a common sight across Asia, but they don t offer good protection from annual monsoon rains, which means families must spend precious resources repairing or replacing their possessions. These lightweight, sturdy tin roofs give needy families a safe, dry place to call home. Tin Roof 1534 $220 These functional vehicles can mean the world to the needy families who receive them. Instead of paying a high price to rent a rickshaw, rickshaw drivers can take home all their earnings to care for their family and send their children to school. Rickshaw 1525 $200 www.gfaau.org GOSPELFORASIA.ORG.AU

Gifts for the Poor A Splash of Love Jesus Wells provide fresh water year-round, protecting communities from many waterborne illnesses and sparing women and children from spending hours searching for water sources. Access to a Jesus Well is freely offered to all, regardless of a person s religious or social background, which communicates Christ s acceptance of those society deems untouchable. Pastors near Jesus Wells are also able to share about the Living Water written about on the well s plaque. Providing safe water is a practical way to show communities how much God and His children care for all people! Jesus Well 2710 $1,500 Give a Portion: $150 1300 889 339

Protect Women and Their Families When women learn to read, they can avoid harmful labor contracts, understand warning labels and avoid being cheated at the marketplace. After they graduate from these literacy classes, they re also able to read God s Word and can grow in their relationship with Him. The gift of literacy enables women to protect themselves and keep their families healthy while also equipping them to draw closer to God. Women s Literacy Fund 3321 $30 Minister to Those Who Feel Invisible In many areas of Asia, widows are an invisible part of society. They are commonly ignored, rejected and believed to be cursed and the cause of their husbands deaths. Widows and Abandoned Children Fund 4030 $90 1300 889 339

Gifts for the Poor Healthy Families Inside and Out Gifts toward medical ministry provide free medical care and health education for people who are suffering and dying from treatable ailments. GFA-supported workers host medical camps in villages or Bridge of Hope centers and invite teams of nurses, doctors and other health care professionals to provide medical care- all in the name of the Great Physician: Jesus Christ. NEW! Medical Ministry 2540 $400 These hand-operated tricycles give people with physical disabilities the dignity of being able to get around on their own. Adult Tricycle 1532 $100

1300 889 339 Millions in Asia have no choice but to go to the bathroom out in the open, which poses many risks, especially for women and girls who venture into open fields under the cover of darkness. Private outdoor toilets spare families from disease found at communal waste grounds and protect the dignity of men and women. $160 Outdoor Toilet 1537 Malaria is transmitted through the bite of an infected mosquito. Mosquito nets save lives and offer a restful night s sleep, free from the sting of disease-laden mosquitoes. Mosquito Net 1531 $12 Most families in Asia have little or no insulation or indoor heating. Those who sleep on the streets are even more exposed to the cold. Blankets will provide comfort and protection and serve as tangible expressions of Christ s love. Blanket 1524 $12
