Unhanging of the Greens The Annual Unhanging of the Greens will take place on Sunday, January 8 th immediately following the worship service. There is a job for everyone so Come out and Help out!! The New Year brings the Retired Ministers & Missionaries Offering during the month of January. This year the theme is Faith through Gratitude. Through our faith in God, and our gratitude for the salvific actions of Jesus Christ we are called to be faithful servants of the gospel and to live out the ministry of Jesus in word and deed. The gratitude that we have for Jesus gift to us is the seed from which springs the gratitude that manifests toward the people of God. The offering supports those who have dedicated their lives to God s service by providing emergency assistance in times of need and a thank you check at the end of each year. We hope you will join us in honoring God s committed servants. The RMMO envelopes are now available. 2 P a g e J A N U R A Y 2017

BABY PANTRY Each month we are having a dedicated collection for the Baby Pantry in the hopes of growing this wonderful ministry. This month s focus is Sock, Underwear, Hats & Mittens! CHUCKLE OF THE DAY An Order of Ribs In Miss Lilie s kindergarten Sunday school class, she was teaching how everything in the world was created by God, including human beings. Little Georgie was particularly interested in how Eve was created out of Adam s rib. Later in the week the five-year old s mother found him lying down as though he were ill. She asked him, Georgie, what s the matter? To which Georgie replied, I have a pain in my side. I think I m going to have a wife. 4 P a g e J A N U R A Y 2017
