Reflections: Welcome 12 Ways to Practice Resurrection Now Richard Rohr, one of the most influential spiritual teachers in the world, has often addressed the challenges of ego, or the False Self, in his work. Now, he turns his attention to the True Self. Taking its title from a Gerard Manley Hopkins poem, his new book Immortal Diamond: The Search Our True Self, explores the deepest questions of identity, spirituality and meaning. How to practice new life or resurrection in our daily lives? The life Jesus promises does not refer only to life after death. Eternal life has to do with here and now. Negativity Refuse to identify with negative, blaming, antagonistic, or fearful thoughts. I'm Sorry Apologize when you hurt another person or situation. The Power of Positivity Undo your mistakes by some positive action toward the offended person or situation. Lies Do not indulge or believe your False Self that which is concocted by your mind and society s expectations. Your Relationship with God Choose your True Self your radical union with God as often as possible throughout the day. Your true self longs for God. Look Within Always seek to change yourself before trying to change others. Do For Others Choose as much as possible to serve rather than be served. Good Whenever possible, seek the common good over your mere private good. Look After Others Give preference to those in pain, excluded, or disabled in any way. Justice Seek just systems and policies over mere charity. Your Voice Make sure your medium is the same as your message. L-O-V-E Never doubt that it is all about love in the end. Happy Easter Fr. Tomasz and St. Patrick s Staff

It s hard to believe that in 4 years we have served over 28,000 meals! Have you thought about helping? We can use more help, you would only serve once every 9 weeks. Please feel free to call Shelly at 508-234-5656 or e-mail at Shelly@mystpatricks.com. It is amazing how much those we serve appreciate what we do for them. John 21:12 Come and Have Breakfast Welcome Thank You! Thank You! I would like to take a moment to thank the dedicated and helpful members of the Triduum Team, lectors, ministers, altar servers and countless others who made our beautiful Triduum liturgies possible. Without the time, talent and treasure of these incredible individuals, our celebrations wouldn't be the prayerful and joyous occasions they are. It has been an honor to assist in the coordination of these events and I wish you all continued blessings and peace throughout the Easter season. Alleluia, Alleluia! This season, was the first year that St. Patrick's Parish Center was opened on Tuesday nights to support those in our community that needed a warm, safe place to sleep. Through the interception of the Holy Spirit, St. Patrick's provided shelter 23 times for someone who otherwise would have slept outside during some very harsh conditions. The support from parishioners at St. Patrick's was amazing, we truly experienced the presence of Jesus - over a 100 gift cards for food at local restaurants, many monetary donations and supplies such as pillows, blankets, socks and gloves - you made a difference. The emergency shelter will re-open November 2018 - thank you for your prayers and support without you this outreach ministry would not have been possible. Sincerely, Fred Beauregard Blackstone Valley Emergency Shelter St. Patrick's Coordinator Upcoming Clothing Swap!
