Engaging the Heart of Christmas Pastoral Sunday School Advent Lessons Nov 25, Dec 2,9 & 16 All are invited to join Rev. Jonathan Harris for the first lesson on November 25, and Rev. William H. Phillips for lessons in December as they lead a special Sunday School offering during the Advent season through to Epiphany. Classes will take place Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:45am in the chapel. M onthly Mission in Motion November During November & December we are asking for your help in collecting non-perishable food items such as: Rice, Canned fruits, Soups & vegetables, Cereals, Crackers, Raisins, Granola bars, etc. Thanksgiving Feast at Child Development Ministry All First UMC friend and families are invited and encouraged to join us for our Thanksgiving Feast from 11:00-12:30pm Tuesday, November 20th. This event is open to all and a great time to fellowship around a delicious meal. Make sure to make plans to join us for this celebration. RADA Cutlery Christmas is fast approaching and RADA Cutlery is always a good gift. Members of the Lautrelle Merchant Circle will be taking orders for the next few weeks. This is an annual fundraiser that helps us support our many mission projects. A circle member will be available to take your order each Sunday AM before the traditional and Anew worship services. The order will be placed Dec. 3rd and will be here before Christmas. Thank you for supporting us. Mascot Pecans Mascot Pecans, large whole halves, will arrive before Thanksgiving! Youth activities What an awesome time being Master Creators! Coming Up: Nov. 11th: The 925 Nov. 13th: High School Breakfast & Devo Nov. 15th: Middle School Breakfast & Devo Nov. 18th: The 925 Mark your calendar for Revolution, January 25th-27th this is a conference wide event, with youth and their leaders from all over SC. Cost of the event is $50, plus $12 for a t-shirt (this is optional) and money for 3 meals. This event is open to middle & high school students. Sign-ups will end Nov. 15th Shepherd s Child This is an annual event, open to our 7 th -12 th grade youth. This year we need 25 youth to commit to shopping on December 2 nd, during youth time and then celebrating on December 9 th after church, more information about timing for this day to come. Please sign your youth up by November 26 th, we will only be able to take the first 25 that sign up.
