Vol 4 Page 2 MESSAGE FROM THE TEMPLE CHAIR Dear Devotees, Happy New Year to all of you! May this New Year be auspicious and very eventful. Let us all renew ourselves and make this year delightful and bring greater and greater achievements. By God s grace, and hard work and enthusiasm of devotees like you, we have a beautiful temple amongst us. Our Temple is a reality and we need to run and take care of it at our best. Dear devotees, volunteers like you make our Temple. My humble pranams to all the volunteers (in various capacities) for all your hard work and dedication. May Lord give us all the energies to fulfill our duties with love and devotion. We started our New Year at the Temple singing His glories. We thank Annaji Chillarige and Sarala Unni for organizing the evening activities. We thank alankaram committee for taking care of garlands for all the deities. We encourage all of you to please participate in the weekly Abhishekams at the temple. Also, this will be the first time we will be celebrating Shivaratri in our very own temple. Please plan to attend and make this celebration a grand success. We are fortunate we have this Temple for our contemplation. First to thank God for the opportunities he gives us to serve others and, second, to ask what more service we can do. Remember, you are a vital part of the Temple and with your active participation and service, we stand tall and strong, a beacon of inspiration to all who come near. Lastly, I thank both Trustee Board, Executive Board, and the Temple Committee for all their support, direction and hard work for our Temple. With Pranams and sincere appreciation, Shakuntala Sarma Temple Committee IMPORTANT! Editor s note: Please participate in this community newsletter by contributing articles.
