Please govern yourself accordingly in order to be admitted to the sanctuary in a timely manner. EVANGELISM POINTS OF POWER February 2014 DARE to be a Disciple of Jesus! Doing the work of evangelism can at times, be a daunting task. So why do we do it? God s Word the Bible, and our love for one another, because we love God. In Matthew 28:16-20, Jesus gave four, distinct commands: Go, Make Disciples, Baptize, and Teach. There are so many ways to do evangelism, but one of the easiest to do, is to let your life speak for you: be the example. As you follow Jesus, and people see what you say and do throughout the ups and downs of life, someone will want to know how they can have the joy and peace that you have, which opens the door for you to further share your faith. Doing the work of evangelism shows God s love. Dare to be a Disciple of Jesus! John 13:35 says, By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. ~The Evangelism Ministry TAKE THE CHALLENGE! Six months remain in our challenge for each of us to lead one person to Christ by August 2014. If you have lead someone to Christ since August 2013, the Evangelism Ministry wants to share your story! Please e-mail your information to: www.spbcwcevangministry@aol.com. Include your name, your phone number, your church affiliation, the date you lead this person to Christ, their age and indicate whether male or female. You can also provide your information by phone to Sis. Rebecca Fitzgerald, by calling 215-479-4287. Proverbs 11:30 says, The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. ~The Evangelism Ministry T.G.I.W. Sixth Sunday after Epiphany Old Testament Jeremiah 17:5-10 Psalm 1 Epistle 1 Corinthians 15:12-20 Gospel Luke 6:17-26 February 16, 2014 Good Morning! What a beautiful Sunday. I have a feeling everything is going to be alright. What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer! Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share? Jesus will take our problems and bring us out of our despair (to lose all hope or confidence). Take it to the Lord in Prayer. Speaking of a friend. What is and who is a friend? The dictionary says a friend is a person who knows and like another. The Bible says: 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God and it was imputed unto him for righteousness and he was called the Friend of God. James 2:23 13 Greater loves hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. John 15:13-14 24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24 Jesus is the friend that sticketh closer than a brother. 7 Art not thou God, who didst out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel and gives it to the seed of Abraham thy friend forever? 11 Chronicles 20:7 Jesus is the answer in this world today beside Him there is no other way. Dear St. Paulians and Friends, Do you believe we serve an awesome God? Do you know that you know that God is your friend and He can do what no other can do? Praise God and Hallelujah! Our God is an awesome God! Jesus is on the main line, all we have to do is tell Him what we want. We can call Him up His line is never busy. Just call this number JESUS He is the one the only one who has the answer. Jesus, Jesus O how sweet the name and I know Dear Father you will do it again in the name of the Father the Son, the Holy Spirit. Amen Amen Amen Members from the Prayer Ministries will be available Sunday mornings after worship service in the Prayer Chapel for anyone who desires prayer for self or others.
