EQUIP BIBLE SCHOOL COURSE INFORMATION 2017 1
From the Director... Every Christian is called to a unique and vital work of ministry in the Kingdom of God! Whether it involves reaching out to people on a mission field or next door ministering from a pulpit, a kitchen or a construction site each one of us has a purpose and a destiny to fulfil. For this, we all need a foundation in the Word of God which equips us to walk in the power of the Spirit, in daily relationship with our Heavenly Father. The vision of Equip Bible School is to provide rigorous, biblical teaching relevant to the personal faith walk and calling of any believer. As such, the courses may be of benefit in themselves or as a precursor or addition to more formal theological study. Discipleship is at the heart of Equip Bible School and inspiration has been taken from the model of Jesus, which included informal questioning, discussion, and learning in community. Classes are structured to include a discussion time to allow an opportunity to process and grapple with what has been taught. This has proven to be an extremely effective addition to the teaching of the Word. There is also a strong emphasis on attendance, reflecting this discipleship model. Students are required to complete a Reflection and Review Task each term which will further serve to aid digestion of the class content. Some class time will be made available in class in support of this task. There are no exams or essays. Students may enrol for any or all individual subjects in a given year. This is designed to enable those with work and family commitments to access an expansive range of subjects, at a flexible pace. The School is open to all believers in the local area and does not promote any particular culture or involvement in any particular church or ministry. Rather it aims to equip each believer through the Word to grow in their personal relationship with God, and their ability to be led by the Spirit of God, to serve in whatever location and capacity they are called to. If you are seeking an opportunity to grow and be strengthened in your call in God, I invite you to partner with Equip Bible School! Director EQUIP BIBLE SCHOOL COURSE INFORMATION 2017 2
