September 2018 Vineyard Rocky Mease, Intentional Interim Minister Where are we at in the call process? That is a good question. I have asked that the actual call process be placed on pause so that as a congregation we can work through issues that need to be addressed before you proceed any farther. So what are those issues? We will be looking at the history of Trinity. How has that history impacted our past, present and future? To do that we need to do more than just read a written history. We have to step back into those times and experience them. To be honest, I am not sure how we will do that right now. Every congregation processes issues differently. I am working with an Intentional Interim Task Force (IITF) to determine the "how" of each issue. Members of the IITF are: Rebecca G., Sharon C., Audrey F., Cathi C, Barry S. and Larry J. These individuals represent an age, gender and interest range that represents the congregation well. The other issues are: expanding the Leadership Base, identifying new identity, partnering with district and synod and being committed to a new direction. I will address these other issues as well as progress we are making in future Vineyard issues. PRAYER FOR THE INTERIM TIME Let us pray together: O God, you have called your servants to ventures of which we cannot see the ending, by paths as yet untrodden, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go, but only that your hand is leading us and your love supporting us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
