Thank you to all those people who have sent in your Fete questionnaires. This feedback is very important in the planning of the day. Even if you can only donate something small or help out for only a small amount of time any help is much appreciated on the day. Those who have offered to help will be contacted soon. Once again we will be holding our major raffle. Last Fete we were fortunate enough to obtain some amazing prizes from school family businesses and also very generous local businesses. More information will follow in the coming weeks. We are well underway with the planning for our Fete. We are still looking for clean and sorted Trash and Treasure. There will be two drop off times each week which will now be Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 2:45-3:30. The drop off point is the shed beside the Year 3 portable. Sheree Midson will be available at this time. If you have any books these can also be dropped off at the above times. - All goods must be clean and sorted. - No electrical goods and no clothes or shoes please. Please contact Sheree or the office if you have heavy items as we can arrange for help. Thank you We have a basket in the office to start collecting items for our showbags. If you have any items, please drop them in. Our showbags are very popular and always sell out quickly. All profits go back to the school. Next Fete Meeting will be held Monday 18th of June At 5:30pm - All Welcome
Division Cross Country On Friday the 18th of May we had our Division Cross Country. Most of us left school at 10am and travelled by bus to Nagle College where we were going to race. We were feeling nervous and excited, but ready to run the race. The track was pretty easy, but there were hard areas of the ground. There are many kids making it through to Lardner Park in Warragul where the track will still be 3ks but it will be harder to run, with more hills. In the end everyone did a great job with really close calls and were really great sports. by Taj Murphy and Caleb O Donnell
On Friday the 18th of May, we all participated in a Science Afternoon. All the House colours were split into groups and rotated around different science experiments. The teachers put on great experiments and so did some of our Year 6 students. The two student groups provided science experiments which featured making lemon fizzy drink, doing the diet coke and mentos challenge and making lava lamps. The teachers also put on interesting experiments such as making parachutes, hoop gliders and learning about static electricity amongst many other interesting science activities. A big thanks to the students and teachers for making great experiments and making the afternoon fun and a great learning experience. By Harvey and Fabian
