THIS IS AMAZING GRACE - Phil Wickham Who breaks the power of sin and darkness? Whose love is mighty and so much stronger? The King of Glory, the King above all kings. Who shakes the whole earth with Holy Thunder? And leaves us breathless in awe and wonder? The King of Glory, the King above all kings. Chorus: This is amazing grace; this is unfailing love That You would take my place; That You would bear my cross. You lay down Your life that I would be set free O, Jesus, I sing for all that You ve done for me. Who brings our chaos back into order? Who makes the orphan a son and daughter? The King of Glory, the King of Glory. Who rules the nations with truth and justice? Shines like the sun in all of its brilliance? The King of Glory, the King above all kings. FIRST ENGLISH MISSION FOCUS First English Church has designated Mission Funds to 2 different missions at the last Administrative Board Meeting, will you consider giving a little extra to them as well? 1. Samaritan s Purse for Hurricane Relief Samaritan's Purse has relief teams working in Georgia, Florida and the Carolinas to help homeowners recover from devastation caused by hurricanes Florence and Michael. Our staff, along with disaster relief units and other equipment, are positioned in hard-hit areas. Samaritan s Purse Helping Homeowners Devastated by Hurricanes. Volunteer teams are assisting homeowners with cleanup in a variety of ways tarping roofs, clearing debris, and chainsawing downed trees. (www.samaritanspurse.org) 2. Gerry s Back Pack Kids This program benefits students at Menahga School that are faced with Hunger while at home. As part of this program, children receive a bag filled with nutritious, kid friendly, food on a Friday or on the last day of school prior to a holiday. This provides the children with enough food to get them through the weekend, until school is in session again. To give to these missions, please write Hurricane Relief or Back Pack Program on the memo line of your check. On your offering envelope in the Special Benevolence Designate section, write Hurricane Relief or Back Pack Program on the longer line and on the line below, please write the amount you would like to give to that mission. For more info on either of these, please talk to a board member.
