Parents may drop off young children and infants in the Nursery before worship. Sunday School for children is right after the children s message. Activity clipboards are available for all children; please ask a greeter. Parents may use the Narthex (foyer) outside the Sanctuary if their children become restless. It is our privilege to participate in this PCUSA offering that celebrates the indescribable gift of our Lord Jesus. Our offerings support students at racial and ethnic schools who are preparing for ministry. Our offerings also assist current and retired church workers who find themselves in crisis or financial need. Please use the special envelopes today and next Sunday to make a contribution to these worthy causes. Advent Devotions. Descend To Us We Pray devotional booklets are available today in the Narthex. Pick one up today to use at home. Poinsettias for the Holidays! Poinsettias are welcome to brighten the sanctuary for Advent and Christmas. Please purchase a plant and set it at the front of the sanctuary. After Christmas you may take it home. Care and Share especially needs pasta, noodles and rice. Thank you for donating for local needy families. Iron County Acoustic Music Association presents Cedar City s own singersongwriter Karyn Whittemore (karynwhittemore.com) Friday, December 15 at 7 PM in the CPC Fellowship Hall. Opening for Karyn is Kenny Russell, a long-time folk and Americana singer-songwriter. Doors open at 6:30, $5 suggested donation. Stewardship We continue to receive faith pledges from our members and friends towards our 2018 budget. If you would like to make a financial commitment for the coming year, please find a pledge card in the pew pocket and place it in the offering plate. We appreciate your faithful giving. They will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 9:45-10:45 am in the library to knit or crochet prayer shawls. Next meeting is Tuesday, December 19. All are welcome! DVD copies of the Sunday Services are also available to check out from the church office, check it out! Treasures Community Thrift Store. Volunteers are needed!
