Then it s time for you to join other teens in the Upper Room! The Upper Room is located in the Guardian Angel Building at St. Mary on the 3rd floor. Join us for food, fun, and fellowship. Hot Meals.2nd, 3rd, 4th Tuesday Enjoy es Lunches will continue for the next 3 Fridays in the Parish Hall 11 am - 1:30 pm. The cost is $6 which includes 5 Sophie Choice Pierogi, sour cream and/or onions, tossed salad, apple sauce, roll and beverage. Dine in or pick up. Call 323-5539 ext. 231 to place an order. Hot Meals Our Parish will be serving dinner Sunday, March 11 from 5-6 pm in the Cafeteria. Volunteers are always appreciated to serve or help with preparation at 3 pm. Thank you. Operation Rice Bowl During Lent we are encouraged to give to those in need. Operation Rice Bowl is a wonderful way to do that and teach children the gift of giving as well. Rice Bowls are available at the entrances of the Church. All donations are given to Catholic Relief Services which assist those in need overseas. Bring back your filled Rice Bowl on Palm Sunday. Look for us on Facebook at St. Mary School Elyria Aerobics & Pilates Mrs. Bredel, the Phys. Ed. teacher, brought in an aerobics and Pilates instructor to teach the junior high students basic moves. They enjoyed the two classes she was there. Face Painting During an Afterschool class, students learned how to do face painting by Mrs. Amador Ramos. Pictured here they were painting bunny faces. Elks Writing Contest Congratulations to four of our students for placing in the Elks writing contest! Nate Peloquin received 1st placed locally, Nora Taylor, Adam Fenik, and Clayton Peloquin are all moving onto districts.
