His daily life was focused on the salvation of souls and he was well known for his homilies that led to conversions. Yet, it wasn t St. Anthony s power that made such an impact-- it was God s power. St. Anthony spent time in daily prayer and was willing to go and do for God. Prayer and a willingness to do God s will is a key to being a disciple of Christ. Let us pray like the saints and make use of the time we have. Pray daily for your family, your pastor, and be willing to share about Jesus and the Kingdom of God. A good way to do this is to share the short videos and blog posts Monsignor Chiodo and Fr. Dan produce. These are tools created for you to reach todays media culture and the unchurched. Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am through 1:30pm. The Cafeteria Helper: Prepares food with minimum supervision, using standard recipes. Assists in the receipt of orders and supplies. Keeps a simple production record of what we prepare and serve daily. Sets up and breaks down serving lines, using proper sanitation procedures. Cleans kitchen equipment and work area. This includes washing dishes, pots, pans, cafeteria eating areas, and any other general cleaning as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by manager to support the goals of the Food Service Department Requirements : Ability to lift 40lbs, stand continuously, and engage in moderate physical work. Good overall physical health. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. English competency Ability to work harmoniously with others and demonstrate cheerful professionalism. From Msgr. Frank Chiodo My Dear Parishioners, This weekend we will celebrate Deacon Tom Starbuck on the occasion of his retirement from his diaconal service. He will still be with us to assist as much as he can. We thank Deacon Tom for his many years here at St. Anthony parish. He has been here since before I got here, twelve years ago. He has been a blessing to us through his ministry and we are pleased he will still be assisting. Along with Deacon Romeo, also retired and serving us with a great generous spirit, Deacon Starbuck will be working along side us for the years to come. We are grateful for the presence of our deaconsl Deacon Quan, and Deacon Hunkele, aka, Dean of our deacons. Next weekend on Saturday we will taking a bus trip to the grotto in West Bend. Forty or so of us will be making the pilgrimage. Pray for our safety. As announced we will be having an information meeting for our upcoming Italy pilgrimage. The meeting will be June 20th at 6:30pm in the lower church. The pilgrimage will highlight some of the famous shrines of Italy, including St. Anthony in Padua. The trip dates are Feb. 11-21, 2019. Met with Ms. Raes last week. She is our new principal. Great plans ahead. Stay tuned. Remain committed to our school. It is a blessing to us. Stay safe and Be blessed.
