We are grateful for your support of Cherokee Hills Christian Church. Online Giving allows you to make contributions to our church without writing checks or worrying about cash donations. You can set up automatic contributions and change the timing or the amount of your gift at any time. You may also make one-time donations to special causes. See page 2, 2-A & 2-B for more information

Online Giving FAQs Page 2 by JOHN AUSLEY CHCC Elder What is Online Giving? Online Giving is a direct payment program whereby your contribution is debited automatically from your account without the hassle of writing checks or handling cash. What are the advantages of Online Giving? It is easy to fulfill stewardship commitments, even when you can t attend church. You never have to bring cash or checks to church. You can view all completed donations online, print out a statement, and even use it for tax verification purposes. The online statement will not reflect donations given directly at church. You may get your complete donation statement from the church office. What company is providing this service to CHCC? CHCC has partnered with NCS Services to provide this service on our behalf. They have been offering E-Giving since 2004. This company services thousands of churches and non-profit companies around the world. Is E-Giving Secure? Absolutely! The provider has the highest security standards and is PCI Level 1 Compliant. How are my contributions automatically deducted from my account? Once you complete the online registration form (located on the CHCC Website), the contribution amount you specify will automatically be transferred from your bank account to the church s bank account on the date you specify. There are five recurring options to choose from; Weekly, Bi-weekly, Semi-Monthly, Monthly and Quarterly. If I do not write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight or prove that I made a contribution? Since your contribution is made at a pre-established time, you simply record it in your check register on the appropriate date. Electronic contributions are recorded on your bank statements and online reports. What about my offering envelopes? You will receive a printed receipt of your donation that can be used to place inside your offering envelope if you wish. Can I put different amounts in offerings and have all of them withdrawn at different times? You can set up your account to contribute to different offerings at different times; however, you will have to create each one separately. You will receive a receipt for each offering. What if I change bank accounts? Simply login and update your account information. What if I try Online Giving and don t like it? You can cancel your authorization by deleting your accounts and donation dates. How do I sign up for Online Giving? Complete the online registration form and select the donations and the amount you would like to donate. It s that easy! - See more at: http://www.chccweb.org/#/resources/give-online. INITIAL SIGN-UP BUILDING USAGE If you would like to use a room in the church for an event, a study, meeting or a party, please contact Christy Ausley at christy@chccweb.org to check availability. Use of all rooms must be booked through the church office.

CONNECTIONS FROM BRANDI BEINS Did you know that in just the last four months, approximately 50 prayer requests and 109 praises have been posted on The Table? Even better than that 569 prayers were reported for those requests! 569!! That s amazing!!! The Table is helping us to become a better connected family, and it s helping us better serve and care for each other. But the benefits don t stop at prayer. Service opportunities are posted on The Table. You can see where it will take place, what is involved and who else is participating. The Table is also a great place to post pictures from church events. Our church calendar is on The Table too. And as more members log on to The Table, a virtual church directory is being created. Another way that The Table is keeping us connected involves Ministry teams. Each Ministry can create its own page. That page becomes a place for group discussions, private prayer requests, and a team calendar. The group leader can post the next team meeting and each member has the opportunity to let everyone know if they will be there with just the click of a button. Can you tell that I m excited about The Table?! CHCC communicates to our members in a variety of ways, but there is no other avenue that is so thorough, so all encompassing and so able to connect our people and our teams. If you haven t joined yet, I encourage you to give it a try and see what you ve been missing! CHCCweb.TableProject.org CONNECTION & DISCIPLESHIP MINISTER LENNY HISEY

Continue to be in Prayer for our Leadership & Staff If you are interested in serving on one of our Prayer Teams, please contact Brandi Beins at 341-7369 or at BeinsFamily@gmail.com. Our Prayer Team would like to encourage you to focus weekly on a specific Prayer emphasis or need. You are encouraged to use this resource as you go to the foot of the cross in your daily prayer time. February PRAYER EMPHASIS FOR THE MONTH: February 9-15: Pray to be rooted and established in love (Ephesians 3:17). February 16-22: Let's ask the Lord to help us love as He loves (John 13:34, 1 John 3:16-18). February 23-28: Pray for the Lord to strengthen the marriages in our church (Matthew 19:4-6). The FAMILY PRAYER TEAM is dedicated to making sure that each family is being covered by prayer and scripture! We want to honor what God has placed together and to protect the family unit as well as each member through prayer. Prayer requests may be sent through The Table or directly to me, John Ausley, at johnausley@att.net. These prayers will be lifted up daily by those on the family prayer team and at our prayer meetings. Some of the continual focus points of the family prayer team will also be as follows: DOES YOUR HEART BREAK FOR THE LOST? DO YOU HAVE A FRIEND OR LOVED ONE WHO NEEDS JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR LORD AND SAVIOR? 1. Pray that marriages and family relationships throughout the congregation will be strengthened. 2. Pray that strained or broken relationships among families and friends will be restored. 3. Pray that the power and presence of God will increase in homes. 4. Pray for and believe in salvation for the whole family. 5. Pray for the plans God has for the family and children. 6. Pray for marriages to be a true reflection of Christ and the church. 7. Pray for strongholds to be broken within our families and children. 8. Pray for blessings upon families and households. 9. Pray a hedge of protection over families and their children. Please share their names with us. We want to help you pray! Contact Tina Ediger at THE TABLE, 721-8309, tinaediger@gmailcom or make a note on your Sunday Bulletin Communication Card and turn it in with the offering.
