o The Ten Weeks Prophecy is amazing and yet mystifying at the same time. It begins with Enoch recounting from his writings... 1Enoch (The Epistle of Enoch) Chapter 93:3~8 "And Enoch began to recount from the books and said: 'I was born the seventh in the first week, while judgement and righteousness still endured. And after me there shall arise in the second week great wickedness, and deceit shall have sprung up; and in it there shall be the first end. And in it a man shall be saved; and after it is ended unrighteousness shall grow up, and a law shall be made for the sinners. And after that in the third week at its close a man shall be elected as the plant of righteous judgement, and his posterity shall become the plant of righteousness for evermore. And after that in the fourth week, at its close, visions of the holy and righteous shall be seen, and a law for all generations and an enclosure shall be made for them. And after that in the fifth week, at its close, the house of glory and dominion shall be built for ever. And after that in the sixth week all who live in it shall be blinded, and the hearts of all of them shall godlessly forsake wisdom. And in it a man shall ascend; and at its close the house of dominion shall be burnt with fire, and the whole race of the chosen root shall be dispersed."
These verses are fascinating and if we equate one day to equal 100 years there are some awesome conclusions we can draw up to this point... Enoch states that he is born at the end of what is the first 700 years of existence. After that in the second week, within 700 years the man that is saved from the first end is Noah. We know this since scripture states that the end of the old world was brought on by the Global Flood... Within 700 years after the Flood, in the third week Abraham was the man that was elected as the plant of righteous judgment... Within 700 years after Abraham was visited, in the fourth week at its end, visions of the holy and righteous were seen by Moses and he was given the law for all generations and the enclosure that was made was the Ark of the Covenant... Once more within the symbolic week of 700 years, at the close of the fifth week, the house of glory or the Temple that Solomon built was established; the words for ever is termed as a finite amount of time... The sixth week is once again within 700 years of the completion of the previous week. First we should jump to "the man that ascends"; this is obviously Christ; and "all that were alive" during the time of the Messiah were "blinded" including the Apostles. The house of dominion that was burnt is the temple that was mentioned during the previous week; the fifth week. And finally, the whole race of the chosen root was dispersed which was the destruction of the temple and Southern Kingdom, and the remaining tribes were dispersed and led out of Jerusalem in 70 AD... Now these events that are described can be argued as forged to the uninformed. However, this book was found in the caves of Qumran in Israel. And the community that held Enoch as inspired, existed before Christ. So, how did the author of the 10 week prophecy know that the Son of Man would ascend within 700 years after the completion of the temple? If we continue the next four weeks line up with Biblical prophecy... 1Enoch (The Epistle of Enoch) 93:9~14 "And after that in the seventh week shall an apostate generation arise, and many shall be its deeds, and all its deeds shall be apostate. And at its close shall be elected the elect righteous of the eternal plant of righteousness, to receive sevenfold instruction concerning all His creation. For who is there of all the children of men that is able to hear the voice of the Holy One without being troubled? And who can think His thoughts? and who is there that can behold all the works
of heaven? And how should there be one who could behold the heaven, and who is there that could understand the things of heaven and see a soul or a spirit and could tell thereof, or ascend and see all their ends and think them or do like them? And who is there of all men that could know what is the breadth and the length of the earth, and to whom has been shown the measure of all of them? 14. Or is there any one who could discern the length of the heaven and how great is its height, and upon what it is founded, and how great is the number of the stars, and where all the luminaries rest?" These next six verses seem to be dedicated to the Catholic Church. What other authority has led a synthesized perversion against the interpretation, preservation, and authority of the Word of the Most High? Is there any other organization that is known as the apostate Church? What other generation questioned the mind of the Most High; or arrogantly inquired the length or the measurements of the universe? If we continue... 1Enoch (The Epistle of Enoch) 93:12~13 "And after that there shall be another, the eighth week, that of righteousness, and a sword shall be given to it that a righteous judgement may be executed on the oppressors, and sinners shall be delivered into the hands of the righteous. And at its close they shall acquire houses through their righteousness, and a house shall be built for the Great King in glory for evermore, and all mankind shall look to the path of uprightness." The last three weeks parallel the Bible and most notably the book of Revelation. Also, it must be mentioned that if the time scale is still on a measurement that 700 year equates to one week, one must ask was there a Dark Ages or Middle Ages? As controversial as this may sound, it is submitted that the Middle Ages never happened. There is a growing amount of research that is supporting this train of thought. What should be noted is that Enoch and the Bible never speaks that man would go through a Dark Age... One more note, it appears that we are currently in this week, the eighth week, verse 12 and 13 from a plain reading state a sword shall be given to it (or the week) that a righteous judgement may be executed on the oppressors. This is a sword of judgment that described throughout the Bible, but its not a physical sword. The judgment of Christ is a sword of destruction as described in the book of Isaiah and Revelation this will also begin the thousand year reign of Christ...
Isaiah chapter 66:15~16 "See, the Lord is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For with fire and with his sword the Lord will execute judgment on all people, and many will be those slain by the Lord." Revelation chapter 19:15 "Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty." As well as the elect shall receive houses and plant vineyards as described in the book of Isaiah and Ezekiel... Isaiah Chapter 65:21~22 "They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will long enjoy the work of their hands." Ezekiel 28:25~26 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: 'When I gather the people of Israel from the nations where they have been scattered, I will be proved holy through them in the sight of the nations. Then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Jacob. They will live there in safety and will build houses and plant vineyards; they will live in safety when I inflict punishment on all their neighbors who maligned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.'" "And a house shall be built for the Great King of Glory" is the city of the New Jerusalem that is told in the book of Revelation... Revelation 3:12 "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is
New Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name." Revelation 21:2 "And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." Also, other Old Testament books hint of the New Jerusalem... Isaiah 2:3 "And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem." Micah 4:2 "And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem." Also, the first resurrection should happen within the eighth week. And the 1000 year reign with Christ should begin when the elect or righteous receive their houses. This is also found in the book of Revelation... Revelation 20:1~6 "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand
years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." And the Houses are also told in the book of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel... Isaiah 65:21 "And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them." Jeremiah 32:15 "For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land." Ezekiel 28:26 "And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the Lord their God."
However, death, sin, and temptation are only subdued for a moment of time; and a final judgment is still to come. This is not only told in the continuing chapter of Revelation the book of Enoch mentions that at least 700+ years will be completed before the destruction of the Heaven and Earth. Continuing... 1Enoch (The Epistle of Enoch) 93:14 "And after that, in the ninth week, the righteous judgement shall be revealed to the whole world, and all the works of the godless shall vanish from all the earth, and the world shall be written down for destruction." This week mentions that all the works of the godless shall disappear and the world shall be written down for destruction. This would include the Gog Magog war that is mentioned in the book of Ezekiel. However, this is not the execution of the Final judgment. The Final Judgment isn't until the completion of this week or the completion of 700 years plus the additional years that were a part of the eighth week... 1Enoch (The Epistle of Enoch) 93:15~17 "And after this, in the tenth week in the seventh part, there shall be the great eternal judgement,in which He will execute vengeance amongst the angels. And the first heaven shall depart and pass away, and a new heaven shall appear, and all the powers of the heavens shall give sevenfold light. And after that there will be many weeks without number for ever, and all shall be in goodness and righteousness, and sin shall no more be mentioned for ever." This is the final action that will be done to the Heaven and Earth. The fallen angels and those people whose names that are not found in the Book of Life will be led to the Lake of Fire, or the Final death. As stated all things shall depart and pass away as told throughout Scripture...
Psalms 102:25-26 "Of old You founded the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. Even they will perish, but You endure; And all of them will wear out like a garment; Like clothing You will change them and they will be changed." Isaiah 51:6 "Lift up your eyes to the sky, Then look to the earth beneath; For the sky will vanish like smoke, And the earth will wear out like a garment And its inhabitants will die in like manner; But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not wane." Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33 "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." 2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that had sinned but cast them down into hell and delivered them into chains of darkness to be kept unto damnation. 2 Peter 3:10
"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." 2 Peter 3:12~13 "Looking for, and hasting unto the coming of that day of God, by the which the heavens being on fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with heat? But we look for new heavens, and a new earth, according to his promise, wherein dwelleth righteousness." Isaiah 65:17 "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind." Isaiah 66:22 "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain." Revelation 20:11 "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them." Revelation 21:1 "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."
These verses support that the Heaven and Earth will pass away as described in the last week of the 10 weeks prophecy from the Epistle of Enoch from 1Enoch. The time line adds up to 7000 years of existence from start to finish; which complements the creation week. However, this should not surprise any serious scholarly student of the Bible. This also strengthens the claim that Enoch was a prophet whose eyes where opened by the Most High; and the validity, of 1Enoch...
