living IN LOVE: THE DAWNING OF A NEW ERA CoreLight All-Student Conference September 21-25, 2013 At Tamaya Resort and Spa, Bernallilo, New Mexico 2013 The birth of a new era. Since the unprecedented portal of December 21, 2012, a new, love-based consciousness is opening in humanity like a budding spring flower. Whether we are aware of it or not, it is happening. To some it is imperceptible because it is subterranean, but for those of us who are sensitive and doing the spiritual work, we can feel the heart opening more each day for humanity collectively and for each of us personally. And we can especially feel the love amplified when we gather together with like-minded people. Being in community at this most auspicious time offers us the opportunity to share our love and wisdom, let it amplify, and together, become more established in heart-centered consciousness and in our spiritual core. As navigating the troubled waters of our modern world can feel increasingly challenging, requiring deeper surrender and more need to use all of our spiritual tools, it is vital that we develop these strengths and stand strong in the power of the one heart and one mind. In these turbulent times, being established in love is essential if we are to support the Earth, our fellow humans and all sentient beings. We are inspired and delighted to invite you to a special and unique all-student conference. Please join us as we gather in the light and become of one heart and one mind. Community This year our conference will be led by Brad, Victoria and the CoreLight teachers: Barbara Sawicki, Carol von Kaenel, Charu Rachlis, Gary Battaglia and Melody Long. Leslie will primarily be holding space for us and over-lighting the retreat, holding a field of enlightened awareness around
us. Because she is being drawn ever-inward, deepening into the continuum of enlightenment, meditating and processing collective consciousness, she will support us inwardly at the retreat and will join us physically when she is guided to in the moment. Leslie and we have all seen that this new format is a reflection of the new paradigm birthing in the world, post-2012. We are all being asked not to rely on Leslie physically in the same way as before. She will, of course, always be there for us, supporting us on our journey to enlightenment. As she is called inward more and more deeply, because of our inner connection with her, her support of our spiritual transformation is magnified. And her deep and abiding love for us remains. Tamaya Resort and Spa Not only will we immerse ourselves deeply in the light of meditation and in transformative discussion, but we will also be graced by the extraordinary ambiance of our retreat location, Tamaya Resort and Spa, in New Mexico. Nestled on Native American land at the base of the Sandia Mountains and adjacent to the famed Rio Grande river, sits the resort. The Tamayame tribe commissioned the building of this unique resort on their sacred, native land and leased it to Hyatt. The land itself is imbued with an extraordinarily deep sense of peace, profound stillness and stability. Brad and Leslie have visited Tamaya many times, and say that it always feels to us like we are tucked away somewhere between the ancient stillness of our Native American past lives and the amenities and luxuries of modern civilization. We can all relax deeply there, and our bodies and souls will experience a powerful upliftment and healing amidst the natural beauty and quietude. Part of the Santa Ana Pueblo, Tamaya offers a rare combination of old and new. The rich history of the Tamayame is reflected in the pueblo-style, showcasing: traditional designs created with natural materials, adobe architecture, magnificent examples of Native American art, along with modern comforts and pampering. Our meditations and transformational work in consciousness are supported by the mystical quality of the land itself. At the base of several majestic mesas, Tamaya
adjoins land considered so sacred that it is reserved only for Native Americans visiting for spiritual purposes. On 500 acres of peaceful New Mexico countryside, one can take long walks, bike rides or horseback rides on the trails through the basque, under the canopy of the cottonwood forest, and along the graceful banks of the Rio Grande. Seeing wildlife on the grounds is not uncommon. Once when Brad was there for a wedding, a black bear cub scampered across the meadow at dusk. Spa and Pools Tamaya offers a world-class spa, which is an ideal way to restore physical and spiritual tranquility. Guests are allowed complimentary admission to the men s, women s or unisex areas of the spa, which include wet and dry saunas, hot tubs, showers and indoor and outdoor lounging areas. Under the sun, moon and stars, we can relax and unwind the body and uplift the spirit. A wide variety of massages, facials and other spa treatments are also available. On the grounds of the resort are also three large heated outdoor swimming pools and a hot tub. Other Activities A yoga class will be offered every morning. Other activities that Tamya offers each week are: nature walks, Native American flute concerts, Native American dances, and story telling under the stars. (From the brochure: Sit back, relax, and take in the New Mexico night sky while enjoying traditional storytelling and s mores over one of Tamaya s fire pits. ) Bedrooms The Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort bedrooms are especially beautiful, decorated in pueblo-style, and include all the usual amenities of a four-star hotel. In addition, all rooms have a balcony or patio and a refrigerator. For an extra fee, hypoallergenic rooms ( Respire by Hyatt ) are available upon request. Our Intention This year is the first time we have offered CoreLight s student conference led by Brad, Victoria and the CoreLight teachers, with Leslie holding space and being physically present when guided. This new format is very spirit-guided and supported. We are all excited about a community-centered kind of gathering, a reflection of the new paradigm of Aquarian ideals. Our intention is to generate a group field of love, far greater than the sum of our personal fields of love, creating an exponential magnification of love.
Our hope is that along with deep spiritual work, you can also unwind, de-stress and have a bit of a spiritual holiday. We plan to structure our schedule so that you can take advantage of the spa to relax and avail yourselves of some of the other activities offered at Tamaya. We will relax and uplift our spirits amidst the luxury and unspoiled beauty of this world-class resort. We feel that being on sacred Native American land at this time is incredibly supportive to everyone s journey in consciousness. We will not only immerse ourselves in the light during meditation and discussion, but we will also have fun gathering together as we uplift and heal the body, spirit and the Earth. Add-on Pilgrimage to Sacred Sites of the Southwest September 25-October 4, 2013 We offer an optional ten-day Earth-healing pilgrimage after the conference, led by Brad, to sacred sites of the Southwest, some of our favorite destinations: Chaco Canyon, New Mexico; Mesa Verde, Colorado; Monument Valley, Utah; and Canyon de Chelly, Arizona. A journey to the Southwest is an initiation, a pilgrimage to an enchanting land imbued with rugged natural beauty and great spiritual power. It is an opportunity to reconnect with an ancient time and place when the land was honored and revered, when Mother Earth was held as sacred. The extraordinary sites we will visit still hold that sacred vibration, and the spirit of the Anasazi Indians the ancient ones is a palpable presence there. As we make our meditative, mystical sojourn and contemplate our connection with these holy places, the soul stirs, and we awaken to our vast, timeless eternality. The full retreat brochure, including itinerary and cost, will be announced soon. Meanwhile, please let us know if you are interested in attending this pilgrimage so that we have an idea of how many we need to plan for.
