THE PROFESSION OF FAITH I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. STAND I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary BOW and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen 6

THE PRAYER OF THE FAITHFUL Lord, hear us. OR Lord, in your mercy. Lord, graciously hear us. Hear our prayer. Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen. THE LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST As the Altar is prepared we sing the following hymn aily, daily sing to Mary, Sing, my soul, her praises due: All her feasts, her actions honour With the heart's devotion true. Lost in wond'ring contemplation, Be her majesty confessed: Call her Mother, call her Virgin, Happy Mother, Virgin blest. She is mighty in her pleading, Tender in her loving care; Ever watchful, understanding, All our sorrows she will share. Advocate and loving mother, Mediatrix of all grace: Heaven's blessings she dispenses On our sinful human race. All our graces flow through Mary; All then join her praise to sing: Fairest work of all creation, Mother of creation's King. Sing in songs of peace unending, Call upon her lovingly: Seat of wisdom, Gate of heaven, Morning star upon the sea. 7

Pray, my brothers and sisters, that our sacrifice may be acceptable to God the almighty Father. May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name, for our good, and the good of all his holy Church. The celebrant continues with the Eucharistic prayer until we sing: H oly, holy, holy. Lord God of Hosts. Heaven and earth are full of your glory, Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna, hosanna, Hosanna in the highest. Hosanna in the highest. B Lessed is he who comes in the Name of the Lord. Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the highest. Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the highest. Gathering Mass Paul Inwood We all KNEEL as the Celebrant continues with the Eucharistic Prayer. After the Lord s words are said over the bread and the chalice we use the following response: 8

The mystery of faith: hen we eat this bread and drink this cup, W We proclaim your death, O Lord, We proclaim your death, O Lord, until you come again Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the highest. Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the highest. At the end of the prayer the priest sings or says: Through him with him and in him. Amen. Amen. COMMUNION RITE THE LORD S PRAYER STAND At the Saviour s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say: O ur Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, now and for ever. 9

Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles: Peace I leave you, my peace I give you. Look not on our sins but on the faith of your Churchand graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will, who live and reign for ever and ever. Amen. (If you are not already standing, please stand now) J esus, Lamb of God and source of life: Jesus, loving bearer of our sins: Hear our prayer, have mercy; hear our prayer, have mercy; give us your peace. Jesus, Son of God and Son of Man: Jesus, true redeemer of the world: Jesus, Lord of life and Lord of light: Jesus, here in form of bread and wine: AGNUS DEI COMMUNION Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sin of the world. Blessed are those who are called to the supper of the Lamb. Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. When offered the Host/Chalice or when given a blessing the response is: Amen. 10

T ell out, my soul, the greatness of the Lord! Unnumbered blessings give my spirit voice; tender to me the promise of his word; in God my Savior shall my heart rejoice. FINAL HYMN Tell out, my soul, the greatness of his Name! Make known his might, the deeds his arm has done; his mercy sure, from age to age to same; his holy Name--the Lord, the Mighty One. Tell out, my soul, the greatness of his might! Powers and dominions lay their glory by. Proud hearts and stubborn wills are put to flight, the hungry fed, the humble lifted high.
