Welcome & Announcements Thanksgiving for Baptism P: In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. C: Amen. P: People of God, in the waters of baptism you traveled with Christ from death to life. Your past, your sin, your failure, your doubt, are no more. C: God s love washes them away. P: Your fear, your confusion, your self-righteousness, your despair... C: God s grace washes them away. P: Your pride, your judgment, and other people s opinions of you... C: No longer define us. P: The Spirit lives and moves through you now. C: A great and joyful mystery. P: So you may bring love and mercy in to the world. C: As the body of Christ. Inspire us through this worship to listen for your call; be reminded of your love; surrender to your grace; and to find hope in your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
