Please take time and consider one or both of these opportunities to give thanks and praise to our gracious Lord. Sundays still available are: FLOWERS: October 2 & 30. KHBT LUTHERAN HOUR: September 25; October 30; November 27; December 4, 11 & 18. Want to run a Video Camera during church? Zion is looking for a team of people who might be willing to run a video camera during the services. The camera is located in the balcony of the church, and is relatively simple to operate. We have a few already who would be willing to serve, but having a team of people to do it should make the process easier. The motivation behind it is this. Currently for the website, and presumably on places like Facebook or other social media, what is found there is a video with only a single picture along with the audio from the church s sound system. There s a feeling that it would be advantageous to have a video of the sermon (instead of just a picture) to go along with the audio. If you are willing to help, contact Pastor Aaron at pastora@goldfieldaccess.net, 515-890-7558, or come up and ask about it after church. Faith United Methodist Church, Humboldt is hosting their annual Turkey Dinner on Wednesday, September 21, 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Morehouse Hall. Menu: turkey & dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, jello salad, dinner rolls, homemade pie, coffee or milk. Diabetic options available. Carry out is available 4:30-6:30 p.m. Call 332-2083 to schedule delivery. Tickets are available at Faith UMC office and V & S. Tickets are not sold at the door. Tickets are $10 adult(13 & older), $5 children(5-12 yrs.), 4 yrs. & under free.
