Apostles Creed Prayer to the Holy Spirit Come Holy Spirit, Fill my heart with the Fire of Your Love. I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, (Bow) who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen. Our Father: Our Father, Who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come: Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen Hail Mary: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hours of our Glory Be: Glory be to the Father, and the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen Fatima Prayer: O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Your Mercy.

1. The Agony in the Garden Spiritual Fruit: God s will be done Intention: For the pope and his intentions and for all our personal intentions. 1. Jesus took Peter, James and John into the garden of Olives; He began to experience fear and sorrow, 2. Jesus said, My soul is sorrowful even unto death; stay here and watch with Me while I go yonder to pray. 3. Going a stone s throw, Jesus threw Himself on the ground and prayed. 4. Jesus prayed, Father if it is possible, let this chalice pass from Me; but not My will but Yours be done. 5. And an angel came and comforted Jesus. 6. Being in agony Jesus prayed even more earnestly. 7. Jesus sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground. 8. Jesus came and found Peter, James and John sleeping, Jesus said, Could you not watch one hour with ME? 9. Jesus said to Peter, James and John You should be watching and praying that you may not be put to the test. 10. Then Jesus said, The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

2. Scourging at the Pillar Spiritual Fruit: Purity of mind and body Intention: For families and love in families and for all our personal intentions. 1. The soldiers arrested Jesus and brought Him to Pilate who asked, Are you the King of the Jews? 2. Jesus answered, My Kingdom is not of this world, but yes, I am a King. 3. Jesus said, For this I was born and came into this world, to bear witness to the truth; all who are of the truth listen to My voice. 4. Pilate said, What is truth? I find no case against Jesus. 5. Pilate said, Therefore, I will scourge Jesus and let Him go. Pilate had Jesus scourged. 6. Despised and rejected by men Jesus was a Man of Sorrows. 7. Harshly dealt with, Jesus bore it humbly like a lamb led to the slaughter. 8. But Jesus was pierced for our sins, crushed for our sins. 9. Our suffering Jesus bore, our sorrows He carried. 10. By Jesus wounds we are healed.

3. Crowning with Thorns Spiritual Fruit: Courage Intention: For souls in purgatory and for all our personal intentions. 1. The soldiers stripped Jesus of garments and put a purple robe on Him. 2. The soldiers put on Jesus head a crown of thorns and a reed in His hand. 3. The soldiers spit on Jesus, blindfolded Him and said, Prophesy to us who it is who struck You. 4. Taking the reed the soldiers struck Jesus on the head. 5. Pilate washed his hands and said, I am innocent of the blood of this just man. 6. Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. 7. Pilate said. Behold the man, and the crowd cried. Crucify Him, crucify Him. 8. Pilate asked, Why, what evil has Jesus done? Crucify Him, crucify Him, the people shouted. 9. Pilate asked, Shall I crucify your King? The people replied, We have no King but Caesar. 10. Finally to calm the angry the crowd, Pilate handed Jesus over to be crucified.

4. Carrying the Cross Spiritual Fruit: Patience with suffering Intention: For priests and religious vocations and for all our personal intentions. 1. Jesus said, If anyone will come after me let him deny himself. 2. Jesus said, take up this cross and follow Me. 3. Carrying His own cross the soldiers led Jesus out to crucify Him. 4. They met a man coming in from the country, Simon of Cyrene and the soldiers forced Simon of Cyrene to carry the cross behind our Lord. 5. Jesus said, Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me. 6. Jesus said, For I am meek and humble of heart and you will find rest for your soul. 7. Jesus said, For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. 8. A great crowd followed Jesus, including women who lamented over Him. 9. Jesus said, Daughters of Jerusalem do not weep for Me. 10. Jesus said, But weep for yourselves and for your children.

5. The Crucifixion Spiritual Fruit: Forgiveness Intention: For the conversion of all people and for all our personal intentions. 1. The soldiers came to a place called Golgotha and they crucified Jesus there. 2. Jesus said, Father forgive them for they know not what they do. 3. There were two thieves crucified with Jesus. One challenged Jesus to come down from the cross. The good thief said, Jesus remember me when You come into Your kingdom. 4. Jesus said, Today you will be with Me in paradise. 5. Near the cross of Jesus there stood His Mother, Mary wife of Clopas and Mary Magdalene. 6. Seeing His Mother with John the disciple He loved, Jesus said, Woman, there is your son. 7. To John He said, There is your Mother. 8. From that hour the disciple John took her into his home. 9. To fulfill the scriptures Jesus said, I am thirsty. The soldiers stuck a sponge soaked in wine on a hyssop (an herb in the mint family). When Jesus took the wine He said, Now it is finished. 10. Jesus bowed His head and delivered over His spirit.

Hail Holy Queen Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope, to thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears; turn, then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the Blessed Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Invocations Most Sacred Heart of Jesus...Have mercy on us.
