Yes, God is a giver and not just a get by giver but a give your best giver. The celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ is a season that selfishness goes out the door and we go all out to give and bless the ones we love. It is such a selfless time that we even take care of the multitudes we don t even know. It is a time of love that passes knowledge. We give to family, friends and strangers; even those we do not particularly like. We give with hope of restoration, joy and to see the look on the faces of those we bless. Christmas is the time that many give the gift of their time traveling to be with people they love and miss. Also, we see the gift of time, money and labor preparing the Christmas dinner where we sit around big tables, all through the living areas, and when weather permits, outside. We enjoy conversations, each others company, and sense of joy that we are all here. Giving the gift of love is contagious and very fulfilling. This Christmas remember that God started all this with the gift of his Son, Jesus Christ. The joys you share with family, friend or even strangers is all representing who our God is and why we love him so much. Many try to misrepresent our God; however, during Christmas enjoy watching movies, singing songs and joining in on church activities that reveal the love and joy of our heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. P A G E 2 2016 The Year of The Evangelist A little over 7 years ago I received a word that I would be instrumental in releasing the Evangelist back to the church. Every gift has its importance and is being recognized by most of the church; however, the Evangelist seems to have disappeared. Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. Notice that the Evangelist is important to the church; not just to the lost as many assume. Pastors, we need the Evangelist in our pulpits. Each gift has its place but the Evangelist is the one that keeps us from being introverted. Without the Evangelist the church turns inward and then becomes fat. That s when the real trouble starts. I am not talking about holding a revival and inviting another preacher in to speak. You need an Evangelist! The Evangelist heart is to see people come to Jesus and to encourage the church, young and old, to go win someone to Jesus. If they aren t about reaching the lost, they are not an evangelist. If they can t tell you the last person they lead to the Jesus outside the church, they are not an Evangelist. It is true, the Evangelist will not preach like you or the other gifts; however, they will stir the heart of the believer to win the lost. NOTHING ELSE WORKS! It is God s way. Bread From Heaven P A G E 3 The Bread from Heaven base scripture is found in Isaiah 55:10 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater. Bread from Heaven was birthed from a vision God gave Betsy Livermore to not only feed the hungry, but to teach them how to make bread that is healthier and less expensive than store bought bread. Bread machines are bought at discount from thrift stores. The Livermores were amazed to find out that most stores throw away many machines each week! Each machine is then cleaned and tested to make sure it is in good working order. A manual is printed and put in a binder and placed with each machine. The bread machines are then sown into those which are in need or who want to provide their families with fresher and healthier bread, which cost less than what the grocery store is offering. Classes are held to demonstrate and teach how to use the machines properly. Hmmmmm. Great idea. How can you be Jesus to someone this year? Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

P A G E 5 Merry Christmas Poem by Dr. Amy Slay Merry Christmas: It's the time that we celebrate Jesus Christ! We celebrate His love that has always sufficed. From back at Calvary and through today, His love has remained. And, even through eternity it will stay the same. He came to this earth as a baby so helpless and poor. As a small boy, he even had chores. But there was something different about Him. Twelve knew this true. His disciples followed Him that they might become new. "You are the Christ (the Anointed One), the Son of the living God." Peter replied. For flesh and blood had not revealed this to his mind. No, this was something spoken from Heaven. It was something God gave, so divinely given. Jesus Christ, as the Son, lived a perfect life. He came and bore our sins and He took on our strife. He made us clean that we might have life. His body given was the costly price. His stripes, they were for my healing. And, my peace with God came through Jesus' bruising. Oh, what a beautiful exchange to lay it all at His feet. To gain His manifested love so perfect and complete. Believer's we have been raised up for such a time as this! All because of what He did back then. M I N I S T R Y I N T E R N A T I O N A L
P A G E 6 Merry Christmas Poem Continued He made a difference and I say, "So will I!" Even greater works will I do, for I was meant to die. Die to myself and let Christ shine. My name made low and His made high. I will give the Lamb the reward of His suffering. I will pour out my life to Him as a fragrant offering. With the Holy Spirit as our Helper, we will not fear what this world may bring. Our eyes, they are placed on the Heavenly things. With the power of God so strong in our lives, what can stand against? Not even the devil's knife. See, satan was defeated when Christ swept through. The only power that he has is what you let him take from you. So don't give up! Stand your ground. It is time to turn this world upside down. We've got a mission. A vision. Prophecies to come true. But, how can they happen if you do not let God work through you? Let this Christmas be a reminder of what the Son did FOR you. And, in this new year, remember who Christ is IN you. Christ in you, the hope of glory! Christ in you, what a beautiful story! We were made children of God through Christ's death and resurrection. Now, creation groans in waiting that we would rise to the occasion. Time to look and act just like our Father. To carry His presence and even walk in His character. The Son is coming back for us as a glorious bride. So we choose to stand up and to rise and shine! Many of you know and love Drs. P A G E 7 Happy New Year From the Board of Directors and Staff of Ministry International Inc. and Ministry International Institute (MII) home offices and campus, we want to say Happy New Year. Our home campus is gaining students as we are moving into high gear in 2016. In this New Year we will open many new classes hosting morning, afternoon and evening classes. With that said, WE HAVE A NEED: We are looking for teachers for new classes. The commitment is for one year, one day a week for 2 1/2 hours. Give us a call and let s talk. Training people through the MII course is a true blessing from God. Remember, to those in the area we have Sunday night services at 6:00 p.m. At Oasis of Love (The Oasis) located in Clinton, Tennessee. Dr. Tony and Rev. Kristie Slay are watching God have a transforming effect on the many ministers and other individuals that are coming to receive.
