What is Copywork? Children learn best by following good models. With copywork, your child will copy prewritten models that demonstrate proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, spacing, etc. It is to be done in their own handwriting. This not only increases penmanship ability but also gives practice in all the essential language arts skills that are so important in the earlier grades. Some of the world s greatest writers honed their skills through copywork.
