The Bible & Transitions Tuesdays, Nov. 15-Dec. 20 7-8:15 p.m.; Sanctuary Room 204 Jack Fortin will be teaching a class entitled The Bible and Transitions on Tuesdays, Nov. 15-Dec. 20, from 7-8:15 p.m. in Room 204 of the Sanctuary. Family and Children Ministry DOCK Children s Education DOCK 2016-2017 registration is up and running online. DOCK (Disciples of Christ Kids), our children s education program is off and running! Children can sign up and join anytime. Classes are available during worship services on Saturdays and Sundays, and Wednesday evenings during Confirmation. We require registration for each child as well as a new registration each school year. October DOCK Theme: The Healing Power of Christ s Love. Get ready to soar on wings like eagles as we study Isaiah 40:31. We will look at Bible stories that focus on the healing power of Christ s love. We will work on a service project, become aerospace engineers, and harness the power of a Praying Family. God s healing power is all around us. Sounds Like Love Music Festival, Nov. 11 13, 2016 Host Families Needed! We need host homes for 500 high school students and leaders from all over the Midwest. This entails the following responsibilities: transportation between St. Andrew s and your home Friday evening and Saturday morning, Saturday evening, Sunday morning a place to sleep (the floor is fine students will be bringing sleeping bags) Friday and Saturday nights possibly snacks Friday and Saturday night and breakfast Saturday and Sunday This is a great opportunity to show hospitality and make this exciting weekend possible for hundreds of students.
