Inside this issue: Pastor s Corner 2 For the New Year s Watchnight Service, we joined in with Rhema Christian Ministry, under the pastorship of Rev. Sabrina St. Clair. While there the preached Word came forward and we claimed the Promises of God given in Isaiah 43. Verse 19 especially encouraged our hearts and we clung to it throughout the year Behold, I will do A New Thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. And then God loved us so much so that He gave unto us a song, NEW THING, ministered unto us through Rev. Joshua Cole. God s powerful Word, this Song, our Faith, our Struggles and His LOVE have brought us to this season in our lives and the life of HPCC. God has shown Himself to us time and time again throughout the past year. He began a brand new work within us and He is far from finishing. We ve spiritually grown so much and we ve captured THE VISION for Higher Praise Christian Church and Ministry! We are determined to DO all that God has put into motion for HPCC. It has been a full year, a fun year, a fast year and a year of DIVINE FAVOR! He has promised to SHOW US HIS GLORY full-force as we further give up ourselves to HIM. He said there will be mighty signs and wonders...miracles in the mist of His people. We will continue striving to become the people of Divine Power! That He has called us to be. We are purposed to help build HIS KING- DOM here on earth. I am honored to be in the presence of such loving and giving people. I thank God for all those whom He has sent our way that have blessed not only, God...but us through preaching, teaching, song, prayer or in whatever capacity they were used. It is truly amazing the connections He has made for us over the last three years. All glory belongs to HIM. We, His remnant, shall now stretch forward our Faith and do the impossible while knowing that we serve a God who makes the impossible...possible! He said whatever we ask for, so we continue to ask for HIS FAVOR in order to DO HIS WILL. Remember what we have individually told our God...I Give Myself Away So You Can Use Me...Amen? Although we have faced many challenges in 2010 with the instability of the economy, lay-offs, cutbacks and setbacks, 2011 will be a year of release. For those of us who truly love the Lord, He has made us some promises. Therefore, our latter shall be greater than our former. Continue to stand on His promises. Believe what He has said shall come to pass and it will come to pass. No matter what you may have faced this year, keep your eyes on the prize which is Christ Jesus. Peace and Blessings, The Rock Family Worship Center Kenya McRae Galilean House of Worship, Pastor, Dr. Michael Penn LIM Dr. Michael Penn, Pastor of the Galilean House of Worship in Martinsville Virginia, established the League of Independent Ministers (LIM) to help all of God's people, especially pastors and ministers, mature in excellence in ministry; and to share with them all the principles, information and revelation with which God has blessed him. Pastor Parker, Assistant Pastors Montgomery and Clark, brother Robinson (now also an Assistant Pastor), and Sisters Patricia Clark, Tatyana Pryor, and Ciara Nelson attended their first annual conference of LIM as the three Higher Praise ministers joined and were inducted into the organization. The Lord poured out His favor upon these as Dr. Penn pulled them apart to share some of what the Lord had given him for them. Our Sister in the Lord, Reverend Sharon Carlos, of Resurrection Baptist Church in King George Virginia, is also pictured as she too joins the organization.

Page 11 Baby Dedication How sweet to hold a new born baby and feel pride and love he gives. But sweeter still, the calm assurance, this child can face uncertain days because He lives. Assistant Pastor Clark s eldest son Robert Jr., and Robert s wife Rosalynn were officially blessed with a new addition to their family in 2010 as the adoption of a son, Kenneth Clark, was finalized. In anticipation and expectation of this blessing from God, Robert and Rosalynn determined to extend to Asst. Pastor Clark, the honor of performing the service of dedication, even though they lived in New Jersey. Witnessed by a large contingent of Rosalynn s family from New Jersey and the Higher Praise family and friends the ceremony was short but anointed by God as He poured out His Spirit upon those in attendance. Pastor Parker assisted with the program as she requested from the Reverend Clark and the other grandparents a statement of intent to help raise this child in the Lord. Following the Service, Brother Mike Robinson blessed us with his culinary talents as we all feasted upon the meal he had prepared. The Baptism of Heather Herndon, June 17, 2010 Heather likes the words of Psalm 71:12-14, God, do not be far from me; my God, hurry to help me. May my adversaries be disgraced and confounded; may those who seek my harm be covered with disgrace and humiliation. But I will hope continually and will praise You more and more. She said, "To me this Scripture means that although people talk and say wrong things about you, GOD is with you. This helps me because at all times I am praising His name. He is with me and it helps me keep my hope alive. Even through pain, I praise His name. God is great!" We celebrate and give thanks to God with Sister Herndon, as she gives glory to Him who is able to save and transform live.

Acts 20:35 (KJV) The year 2010 has been an experience for me. I thank God for allowing me to give my love and time to Him; also to other people who I didn t even know and also giving donations from Higher Praise Ministries. Donation of items to King George Nursing Home, King George Citizen, Colonial Beach Nursing Home, Busy Bee Day Care and Senior Care Ministries in Richmond VA, Little Ark Baptist Church, Christian Descendant Dove, Brandon House, Homeless Shelter, Fredericksburg VA, Project Faith, and Fahass. Higher Praise had the opportunity to visit the sick in hospitals, nursing homes, and in their own homes. There where also times when Project Faith patients needed rides to get medicine, doctors visits, or to groceries stores, Higher Praise was there. I just thank God for all he has done and what he is about to do in our lives in the year 2011. HPCC was blessed to join in with the Lake of the Woods/Wilderness Coalition of Churches. Months before the event occurred, Evangelist Steve Zolnowski, Calvary Christian Church (Fredericksburg, VA), was traveling through Orange County when the Spirit of the Lord spoke to him and told him to organize his very first tent revival. He contacted area churches and as a result five ministries agreed to participate. Leaders met for months in order to plan, organize, pray and speak into existence this tent revival. This was the first event of this kind in Orange County and had to be approved by officials. God showed favor in all areas. The event occurred the week of April 26 th at a vacant area at the Locust Grove Town Center, the same location as our first building. Our members joined together and practiced in order to lead God s people into Worship on Wednesday night. We thank God for Bro. Frankie White, Jr. who traveled to be with us, played the keyboard and directed the Praise Team. We also thank God for Sis. Christina Robinson who offered up her voice and worship unto the Lord. Hearts were so receptive and the Spirit of God was truly high that night. Evangelist Steve was given powerful messages to preach all week long. A number of people received salvation and everyone involved in this event was blessed beyond measure. All roadblocks Satan set up were torn completely down and GOD received all glory and honor. It was an experience we will never forget and we are looking forward to participating in other tent revivals soon, as well as organizing some ourselves. God has been and is just so good to us. We shall take every opportunity He provides to display His Love through His people. Oh, how great is our God!!!!!!
