Class Three 29-7-1438H / 26-4-2017 Pillars of Faith Deeds without faith are useless. Faith is the foundation. There are 6 Pillars of Faith: - Belief in Allah اإليمان باهلل 1) - Belief in the Angels اإليمان بالمالئكة 2) - Belief in the Books اإليمان بالكتب 3) - Belief in the Messengers اإليمان برسل 4) - Belief in the Last Day 5) - Belief in the Qadar; its Good and Bad

.ﷺ Who can tell us about Allah? Allah Himself and the Prophet قال It is not acceptable for anyone to tell you about the matter of faith except said. ﷺ what Allah and the Prophet -;هللا و قال الرسول Additions to Last Class Points: (نؤمن بأنه فقط يعلم الغيب) - We believe that only Allah Knows the Unseen Allah told us the unseen future which we need to know, such as what will happen on the Day of Judgement, the Questions of the Grave, the Signs of the Day of Judgement, etc. (نؤمن بأن هللا قدير) - We believe that Allah is All-Able We believe that everything is possible with Allah. However, we do not supplicate with supplications like, "O Allah give me more eyes", "O Allah make me an Angel", because there are etiquettes in making Dua. Also, we should not be so specific about what we want in Jannah (I.e. I want this colour house, with this furniture, etc.), because it is considered transgressing in your supplication. اإليمان بأن له الحكم ( Universe - Belief that to Allah belongs the Judgement in this (في هذا الكون You cannot say that so-and-so will go to Hellfire, because you are not the judge. But you can say, "If a person does not pray and does such and such sin, He will go to Hellfire". You cannot judge people, but you can state the consequence of an action, which Allah mentioned, because the judgement belongs to Allah. Also, we cannot wish changes in the Universe, because the judgement belongs to Allah.

We believe that Allah Loves His Awliyaa and they love Him We believe that Allah Loves. Allah Loves, but there is nothing like the Love of Allah. Allah Loves His Awliyaa. Allah's Awliyaa are His believers who follow His commands. The more you follow Allah's commands, the more He will Love you. And His Awliyaa love Him. The love of Allah fills the hearts of the believers. This does not mean they do not love their fathers, mothers, husbands, childrens, friends etc. This is natural love. But they love Allah the most, and the Prophet after. ﷺ You love Allah the most because He is your Creator, He is the One who provides for you, He is the One who takes care of you, the One who brought you into existence, the One you have to stand in front of on the Day of Judgement. Everything we have around us is from Allah. Then we love the Prophet,ﷺ because he shows us the way to Allah. These two loves are obligatory for us to have. You love yourself. When you love yourself, you will love all good for yourself, so it will make you choose good choices for yourself. You do not want to go to Hellfire, so you will follow what Allah and the Prophet ﷺ said. We believe that Allah is Pleased with what He Legislated of Deeds And Hates what He Prohibited of Deeds We believe that Allah gets Pleased. Attaining the Pleasure of Allah is something very great. In Surah At-Tawbah [9:72]:

"Allah has promised to the believers -men and women, - Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of 'Adn (Eden Paradise). But the greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allah. That is the supreme success." Allah Loves and is Pleased with the believers. This is the ultimate goal. If you want Allah's Love, you will take the means of attaining it. And if you attain Allah's Love, you are a winner, even if no one else loves you. Sometimes we run behind the pleasure of people, so we do what they like, and we become distracted with all of them. There are people who do sins just to achieve the pleasure of people. Do not make people your goal, because today they accept you, tomorrow they do not accept you. Today they love you, tomorrow they do not. People change with desires. Today they are in a mood, tomorrow they are not. You cannot guarantee the pleasure of people and their love. So make the pleasure of Allah your ultimate goal. We believe that Allah gets Angry with those who deserve the Anger Allah gets Angry, but not with everyone. There are certain deeds which make Allah Angry. In Surah Al-Fatihah [1:7]:

"The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians)." Allah's Anger is not like the anger of people. When people are angry, it is usually something bad because they cannot control their tongue and actions. A man asked the Prophet (ﷺ) for an advice and he (ﷺ) said, "Do not get angry". The man repeated that several times and he replied, "Do not get angry". [Al-Bukhari] There is an instance when anger is praiseworthy;- anger for the sake of Allah; when someone breaks the rules of Allah. To Allah belongs the highest example. His Anger is just and perfect. What action makes Allah angry? Those who have Knowledge but do not apply it Evidence: The aforementioned verse in Surah Al-Fatihah Sometimes if one specific human gets angry with us, we do not like it. So imagine when your Creator is angry with you. If your goal is Allah, Allah will give you everything. If your goal is the love of Allah, Allah will make people love you. But if you beg for the love of people, they will not love you; they will end up hating you. Because you are not supposed to seek the love of people; you are not supposed to be a slave of people. If you make a person the centre of your life, you will be miserable. The centre should be إله اال هللا.ال Then Allah will make people love you without you going to them. If Allah is Pleased with you, He will make people pleased with you. Because the hearts of people are in the Hands of Allah. He is Able to change the love of people into hate and the hate of people into love. So make the love and pleasure of Allah your goal, regardless if it people love you and accept your or not.

People get angry with us for the tiniest of things and do not talk to us for a long time because of it. The relationship with Allah is the easiest relationship. If Allah is Angry with you and you repent, Allah will change the Anger to Love. With people we do and do and do what they want so that they are pleased with us, and yet it is not up to their standard. Achieving the pleasure of Allah is easier than attaining everyone else's pleasure, even though people have nothing in their hands. All you have to do is follow Allah's commands. Allah is pleased with His slave who says: 'Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah)' when he takes a morsel of food and drinks a draught of water. [Muslim] We believe that Allah is not unjust Does not get tired Does not get bored Does not sleep Is never heedless هللا ال يظلم - unjust Allah is not -> We believe that there is nothing unfair in any of the Decrees we go through. E.g. The sun, the moon, the weather, how you look, the situations you go through, Allah commanding you to pray 5 times a day, sickness, etc.

We believe that Allah is never unfair with His slaves. Even when He punishes people and puts them into Hellfire, He is not unfair. Allah is never unfair to His slaves, but people are unfair to themselves. In Surah Fussilat [41:46]: "Whosoever does righteous good deed it is for (the benefit of) his ownself, and whosoever does evil, it is against his ownself, and your Lord is not at all unjust to (His) slaves." Allah's actions are between justice for the sinners, and favours for the gooddoers. If you do ten good deeds, Allah will give you 100 to 700. We pray 5 prayers a day, but it is written as 50. With Allah, good is multiplied. If you do one sin, you get one sin. There is no multiplication for sins. Allah is never unfair; He will never decrease your good deed and He will never increase your sin. هللا ال يتعب - tired Allah never gets Fatigue never touches Him. In Surah Qaf [50:38]: "And indeed We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six Days and nothing of fatigue touched Us." The Jews believe Allah rested on the seventh day, which is why they take Saturday off. Allah's power does not decrease. For us we have power in the morning, and as the day goes by it gets lesser. And yet, Allah is always dealing with affairs and taking actions. In Surah Ar-Rahman [55:29]:

"Whosoever is in the heavens and on earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He has a matter to bring forth (such as giving honour to some, disgrace to some, life to some, death to some, etc.)!" A woman from the tribe of Bani Asad was sitting with me and Allah's Messenger ﷺ came to my house and said, "Who is this?" I said, "(She is) So and so. She does not sleep at night because she is engaged in prayer." The Prophet (ﷺ) said disapprovingly: Do (good) deeds which is within your capacity as Allah never gets bored (of giving rewards) till you get bored (of doing good deeds.)" If you are making Dua for one hour, Allah will listen to you for that entire hour. When you stop and get bored, Allah will stop. We get bored of our children always asking and begging us and we do not like people insisting on us. There is no one like Allah; even if you ask Him the whole night, Allah will listen and respond to you. Even if you talk to Allah all the time, He will never get bored. On the contrary, Allah loves to hear you. Allah does not sleep How can a Creator sleep? The Christians say that Eesa عليه السالم is the God or son of God, and that he was crucified, he died for three days, then came to life. If you hold a glass all day, when you go to asleep it will fall. With the whole world and all the people in it, how is it possible for Allah to sleep? The whole world will collapse. In Ayat Al-Kursi:

"Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him." Allah is never heedless Allah is never unaware. In Surah Hud [11:123]: "And to Allah belongs the Ghaib (unseen) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him return all affairs (for decision). So worship Him (O Muhammad) and put your trust in Him. And your Lord is not unaware of what you (people) do." He knows everything you are doing, saying, thinking.

If you believe in Allah You would love Him You would magnify Him You would obey Him If you believe in all the aforementioned about Allah, what should it bring about in you? Love. You love the One who is perfect. You love and attach yourself to someone who is always present, who will never leave or not be there. Anyone else will sleep, take a nap, forget, be heedless. This makes you magnify Him. He is the Ever-Living; never dies. And this is what makes you obey Him.

If you believe in Allah You would have hope in Him You would have fear of Him You would rely on Him When you believe in Allah, you will only hope in Him. You will only be afraid of Him. You will only rely on Him. Belief in Allah brings out all these actions from you. When you believe in Allah, you will worship Him. He will be the centre of your life.
