Our prayer at all times, but particularly during November, is directed to our loving God asking Him to welcome those we have lost into His presence to stand amongst the angels and the saints in eternal peace. Here at St. Paul s we will remember all of our deceased relatives and friends who have gone to the Lord in the Masses and times of prayer during November, the month of the Holy Souls. In a special way, we ask you to please take an All Soul s Day remembrance offering envelope (available at the doors of the church) and list the names of those you wish to have remembered in prayer during this month. Please return your envelope via the collection basket or to the Parish Office. All envelopes will be placed on the altar for remembrance during November. INCREASED OFFERTORY APPEAL This is Commitment Weekend! November 22 and 23, 2014 This is Commitment Weekend for St. Paul Parish. As a response to the call for increased annual and weekly giving, all parishioners are asked to return their completed Commitment Envelopes this week by placing them in the offertory collection. During the past two weeks, Father Drea and fellow parishioners spoke about our effort to increase our weekly giving" and how all parishioners can participate. A brochure and Commitment Envelope was mailed to every home in the parish. Additional brochures and envelopes are available in the church. If you pick up these materials after Mass, please return your envelope as soon as possible by mail, or place it in the collection at Mass next weekend. Those who currently pledge to our annual Stewardship Drive were mailed a commitment renewal form. Please indicate your new level of giving and terms of your commitment. You may place this form in the Commitment Envelope being sent to all households. Please help our Parish meet its growing financial obligations and consider a giving level that is best suited to your circumstances. This will allow our parish to plan accurately for the future. Prayerfully and carefully consider your commitment. We realize that much has already been asked of our parishioners, and that some families or individuals are experiencing difficult financial times. We are counting on those who are able to make a sacrifice and increase their weekly offering. Our Parish Community is a reflection of each of its members. Our generosity determines what this community can do for others. A small sacrifice makes a big difference.
