McKenna Rae is the daughter of Jonathan and Loni Kavulich Loiselle and was born on October 22, 2016. May the Lord bless McKenna Rae and her family on this most special occasion! Thank you for continuing to collaborate with us on the St. Pauly clothing drop off shed project. In 2016 roughly 17,908 garments of clothing were donated to our shed. This was enough to clothe an estimated 2,171 people. This clothing is being used right now by people in one or more of 44 different countries (including the United States) to which this clothing is likely to have been distributed this past year. Our parish raised $1,181.00 in 2016 through hosting this shed. Continue to spread the word about the clothing shed throughout our community. In today s liturgy Jesus continue his invitation to go beyond the letter of the law by calling us to go beyond our human tendencies toward hatred and revenge. In a world where demands for payback and gotcha moments are all too common, we are encouraged to lower the temperature of the rhetoric and reflect the heart of our merciful and loving God. If last year s Year of Mercy is to mean anything, we are called to continue to show God s mercy and forgiveness all through our lives. Have a great week!

The list of focus groups was developed as well as the questions to be asked. Stay tuned to the bulletin for the formal focus group announcement. Gift Bearers If you would like to bring up the gifts at the weekend Masses, please inform the usher before Mass begins. Have You Been Hearing A Call to Service? We are need of at least one more person to serve as an 'Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion' on one Sunday a month starting in February at our Riverside Nursing Home due to the retirement of one of our ministers. We have a ministry of 15 dedicated folks who serve the four Nursing Homes and 20 of our home bound parishioners each week. If you have been hearing a call to some kind of service, maybe it is the voice of Jesus asking you to join us in the honor and privilege of taking the Blessed Sacrament to these precious souls. Training will be provided both through individualized education here in the parish. Please contact Vince Klingler at Vince_K_Moosic@Live.com or at 570-205- 5716 to discern if you might be interested in joining this wonderful spiritual work of Divine Mercy. Lector Workbooks Lector workbooks can be picked up in the Parish Office during normal business hours. PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY will not meet on Monday, February 20th.
