ABOUT US WHO WE ARE We are a fellowship of believers who pursue the God who passionately pursues a lost world; we do this by connecting with one another, through worship, by the Word, to the world. WHAT WE DO CONNECT UP We express our adoration of Jesus through dynamic worship and uncompromised obedience. Pastor Skip has called the church to pray and fast for our nation during this election season. CONNECT IN We explain the relevance of the Bible to empower and transform lives for service. In September, fifteen people came to a Connect Group leader interest meeting to find out how easy it is to lead a group. That could mean as many as eight new groups opening soon. CONNECT OUT We extend hope to a hurting world by proclaiming the gospel and demonstrating Christ s love. Reload Love raised awareness and money to aid children impacted by terror by releasing four new t-shirt designs the weekend of September 10-11. Please avoid unnecessary movement during the service. If you must leave during the service, the ushers will ask you not to re-enter the sanctuary. Children fourth grade and below are required to attend Bible Island or sit with their parents in the family room. Bags/backpacks are subject to search.
CREATIVE TEAM NIGHT At Calvary, we love to use music, video, lighting, art, and stage presentations in support of the teaching ministry. AMMP CLASS Are you interested in radio broadcasting? Join KNKT 107.1 FM and Star 88 for our next series of classes from the Academy of Media Ministry and Production. AMMP is a six-session course leading you in training for on-air and production techniques. Classes meet Mondays, beginning October 10, at 6:30 pm in the Connection conference room. Cost is $75; register by Wednesday, October 5. CHALLENGE MEN S MONTHLY RALLY Challenge Men in Ministry enables men to commit to God s Word through modeling and discipleship. We are committed to building spiritual bonds and transforming men into leaders in their home, workplace, church, and community. Join us on Saturday, October 8, at 8 am in the Hub as we enjoy free breakfast, apply the Bible, and build friendships. JUÁREZ MISSION TRIP Join Calvary Albuquerque Missions as we partner with the ministries of Amigo Fiel to celebrate Christmas, December 8-11.
