Fourth Sunday of Easter Acts 9:36-45 Revelation 7:9-17 John 10:22-30 April 21, 2013 Sowing in the morning sowing seeds of kindness, sowing noontide and the dewy eve waiting for the harvest and the time of reaping. We shall come rejoicing bringing in the sheaves. 7 Be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:7-9 Dear St. Paulians and Friends, Are you sowing seeds of good or evil? Jesus went about doing good. Praise His holy name. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:10 The Bible tells us that we will reap just what we sow. If we sow in the dark we will reap in the light. If we sow seeds of kindness you will reap kindness. If you sow seeds of freedom you will reap loneliness. When seeds are sowed thinking only about me, myself, and I. When the harvest comes in you will reap loneliness, boredom and anxiety. If you want to find out about the seeds that you are sowing read your Bible that Holy Book from God. The Bible tells us about the teachings of Jesus, how he went about sowing good seeds of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. Sanctification is though the Spirit, not the law or self will. 16 This I (Jesus) I say then, walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 Christian character is produced by the Holy Spirit, not by self-effort. Jesus is love and He gave His life so that all who believes will never have to face the heat of God s anger and if you want eternal life. Trust in Jesus and obey His word, read John (all) chapters 14, 15, 16, and 17. In John 14:1 Jesus tells us let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me. John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. John 16:1 These things have I spoken unto you, that you should not be offended. John 17 Jesus prays the prayer of intercession for you and for me. Thank you Dear Jesus. For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus our Lord. Jesus sows salvation and we will reap eternal life Hallelujah! Romans 6:23 Members from the Prayer Ministries will be available Sunday mornings after worship service in the Prayer Chapel for anyone who desires prayer for self or others.
