Beginning next week we will be collecting donations of money to stock the AWANA store with various prizes and awards to incent our children to learn their verses and display proper behavior. There will be a special Business Meeting Sunday, October 2, 2016 following the morning service for the membership to vote to call Keith & Ericka to this position. The proposed total compensation package, including the parsonage, utility costs, salary and benefits will be $44,200.00. Ladies, Teenagers & Girls Over 10 Years Old! See Cindi Decker or just come on out on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. to check us out! Christmas Rehearsals will begin in October on Monday evenings (stay tuned). Children s Registration for the Christmas Cantata (December 10 and 11 performances) will begin today by filling out a registration form and placing it in the box outside of the Music Office. Auditions for acting or special singing roles in the drama will take place during our first lunch/rehearsal on October 2 nd. Children in Grade 2 and up are welcome to sing and act in the program. Bring a lunch on October 2 nd for the first rehearsal. Parents are needed to help supervise during the lunch rehearsals and assist with program needs. Younger children may be able to participate in a portion of the program if there is enough adult support (see Cindi Decker after October 10 th ). Ladies! Join us on Wednesdays starting October 5 th at 9:30 a.m. for our Small Group Women s Bible Study in room 20 & 21. This eight-week study of grace by author Jerry Bridges teaches that grace is not just for beginners! Please sign up on the bulletin board in the foyer so that we can prepare for you. 7

Health Concerns During the Services If you don t feel well during a service please summon an usher or ask a neighbor in the pew to summon one so that we can adequately tend to any medical issues. Please do not be concerned about disrupting the service. We care about you! Parents & Children Parents, in an effort to consistently improve our worship services, we ask you to sit with your children and teenagers in the worship service so that all can be edified without great distraction. Phones and tablets can be used too by our young people to access sermon notes and the Bible online, but we ask that they refrain from other uses so that they can grow as well. If you want a financial tax deduction statement at the end of year, please help us by requesting and using our envelope system.
