Did you know that St Nicholas Church is obligated to pay the diocese for each registered member of our parish? Even if you have not paid your dues, we must still submit payment for you. We are a small parish, with a big church building. As we enter this holiday season, if you haven t done so yet this year, please stop by the office and pay your 2012 dues. We count on every parishioner to contribute their fair share, understanding that everyone is in a different financial situation. Please feel free to talk to one of the Trustees, Officers, or Father Stephen to discuss in confidence any issues you may have. We appreciate all of our members and friends. Thank you for your support of St. Nicholas Church. KERMEŠ RAFFLE TODAY: While Kermeš was cancelled for today, the raffle will still take place after liturgy in the Main Hall. If you haven t bought your tickets yet, they will be available for purchase from Stephanie Salony prior to the drawing. The cost is $10 per ticket. HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE EFFORT AT ST. The Altar Society extends its deepest appreciation to Charles Honara for the donation of the lovely, all-purpose tablecloths on the tables today. These tablecloths are for weekly use and can repel liquid for spills and are machine-washable for everything else. Thank you, Mr. Honara for making each Sunday coffee hour that much nicer and improving the look of our lovely hall to prospective renters. COFFEE HOUR CHANGE PLEASE READ This has been a rough few weeks. The two weather events have touched us all on some level and affected our daily lives. At the least, power outages and gas lines have brought a new appreciation to the basic necessities. For this reason, we are going to make some changes to the coffee hour. On the bulletin board, there is a sign-up sheet of items needed for each coffee hour that started this week and will continue through the end of the year. If you know that you are going to be here for a Sunday, we are asking if you could bring one item from the list - something to buy while doing your regular grocery shopping. The Altar Society will have all of the drinks, butter, and cream cheese and snacks. Collaborating will make each week more manageable rather than one person or family being responsible for the entire coffee hour. As always, we are so thankful for your generosity and assistance.
