What do you need to get there? Who are you seeking to join you on this part of your church s faith journey? For a church with a 377-year history, MCC is remarkably vibrant, welcoming, and open to growing in new directions. As a result, we are a friendly, safe, inviting place for all people to come and explore their faith. Our current Pastor of Youth and Families is leaving due to her husband being called to a ministry in a different part of the country. We have invested significantly in youth ministry over the past few years and, as a result, have grown substantially as a church. Participation in youth programming has more than doubled and the youth represent more than a quarter of the church population. But for MCC, that growth is not the goal; it is merely a reflection of the progress we are making toward our true goal growing spiritually, together. We seek an individual who will SUMMARY CHURCH PROFILE 2017 PAGE 2
continue the great work our current youth pastor has begun, and, equally importantly, make the role their own. Photographs: Insert 1 3 images of your church, its people, its parsonage or building or gathering space, etc. SUMMARY CHURCH PROFILE 2017 PAGE 3
