KNOWLEDGE FAITH DISCIPLINE A Not-For-Profit Organisation www.rissalah.nsw.edu.au Issue 5: 13 th June 2018 Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuhu Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Power. And what will explain to you what the Night of Power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit (Angel Gabriel) descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, on every errand. Peace! This until the rise of morning. Surah 97 Laylatul Qadr or The Night of Power is the night the Quran was first revealed to Nabi Muhammad SAW (Peace and Blessings Upon Him). It is a blessed night and one of the odd nights in the last ten nights of Ramadan. The Quran was revealed to remove the darkness of ignorance and to light up the path of truth and righteousness. It is Sunnah to occupy oneself with prayer and thikr and beseech the forgiveness of Allah during this time. Dear Parents and Caregivers, The School Board, the staff and I would like to wish all families and friends a wonderful Eid-ul- Fitr, InshAllah.
