The theme for TRBA 2019/2020 is, UNITED TO HIS PURPOSE; UNDIVIDED TO OUR TASK; UNDETERRED TO BECOMING HIS CHURCH -- committing anew to our ministry of reconciliation to God and to each other as His church. At the meeting, we discussed how we go forward from here. I shared the primary emphasis would be church revitalization with willing partners. 15-20 of our pastors have expressed interest of being engaged with groups specifically dealing with church renewal/revitalization. We had 2 good sessions of IRON SHARPENING IRON and I am excited about what I am hearing. Church renewal will indeed take tremendous commitment to the elements of the theme. Please be in prayer for Team Leaders as they will be meeting in the next couple of weeks to make plans for 2019. We hope to communicate with some detail about the events/activities of the association by January. Also, we are in the process of making final preparations for our 2019 Association-wide Call to Prayer. Go ahead and save the date - January 28th. You ll be receiving your invitations soon LOL. Seriously, the first step towards renewal comes from our prayerful dependence. I trust that we will have a good service and you will plan to bring a good group from your church. As we gather to worship throughout November, express gratitude for being a part of His church. Pray for your sister churches specifically pray for ways we can work together to accomplish His purpose. God Bless! Dougald
