Testimony & Prayer Request Four weeks ago, I noted blood in the urine which I passed off as Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). I was concerned and wanted to visit my family doctor immediately, unfortunately it was my family doctor's day off. I went to see another doctor and that doctor took a sample of my urine and said there were no traces of blood or infection in my urine. He just gave me some alkaline granules to clear my urine. The next day, I again noted there were traces of blood in my urine. This time I went to my family doctor and he diagnosed it as UTI. I was put on a course of antibiotics for ten days. On Sunday, 4th June, I went up for prayers and Ps Lynette prayed for me and got the word bladder possibly gall bladder. I shared with Ps Lynette that my doctor had ruled out gall stones. I completed the course of antibiotics. Still there were traces of blood in the urine and this time I could see tiny little clots. My doctor had arranged for me to see a Uro logist on Thursday, 6th June. During the service on Sunday, 11th June, Pastor Wendy released a Word of Scripture from Psalm 20:7, Some trust in chariots and some trust in horses but our trust is in the Lord our God. While praying, Ps Wendy also sensed in her spirit that someone or some people were having headaches or migraines and that God wanted to heal them. I was already complaining to Ps Lynette a week ago about headaches that I had been having. After the morning service on 11th June, I went up for prayers for the headaches and the blood in the urine. Ps Irene prayed for me and got a very strong word of knowledge in her spirit - "Growth and she said to go for an MRI of the brain. I shared with her that I had recently gone for a Colonoscopy and CT scan for my digestive system. Ps Irene shared that while driving to church she had a Word of Scripture from, 2 Chronicles 20:15, The battle belongs to God. Both were very apt and timely words for me. On Thursday, 15th June I went for a Cystoscopy. During the procedure, the doctor detected a growth about 3 to 4 cm in size. His initial diagnosis was early stages of cancer. I immediately rejected and rebuked the diagnosis In Jesus Name. The doctor advised that I go for further surgery to remove the growth. My husband and I decided to have the growth removed the very next day. On Friday, 16th June I went for the surgery and the surgeon detected two smaller growths in addition to the first growth. He sent them for biopsy. By faith I am claiming that God has removed every cancer cell in my body In Jesus Name. I know I serve a miracle-working God and I put my utmost trust in Him for nothing short of a miracle. Prayer Focus OUTREACH Community Events - Loving our Neighbour We will be co-organising a parent and child Study Skills workshop for the families of Zone D RC on Saturday 22 July. Please pray for families to register for this workshop. This is our first parenting workshop at the RC centre. We pray for more open doors to meet with families on a more intimate level in the community so that relationships forged will make families stronger in this community. May we host the loving Presence of the Father in this community. National Day is around the corner. As we continue to support the National Day Carnival at Zone D, let us serve the residents with a spirit of joy and generosity and continue to pray for unity for our nation. May we be a light that shines in the community and bring all glory to the Father! Art in Outreach A team of artists led by Jacke Tan will be working with the residents of a Shelter to design and paint their own murals to create inspirational art on the walls of their premises to bring messages of God s hope and life in the midst of adversity. Let us pray that all involved will be filled with the Holy Spirit and that healing of hearts will take place during the time of hearing God and painting together. The mural workshops and painting will take place in August and September. In July, we are also conducting art classes at Healthserve Taiseng Centre for the migrant workers. Do pray that these brothers will see the value of coming for the art classes so that they can have a time to rest from their stressful and tiring work conditions, make friends and express their feelings and thoughts through art. We pray that this community of caring, sharing and learning together will be a support for them and make them more resilient in times of hardship. Thanksgiving We praise God for answering our prayers in raising the required finances for Balamurugan s (injured migrant worker) operation cost through your amazing generosity in giving. We praise God that we could partner in His work and witness His miraculous healing for Balamurugan who fell 16 storeys and now is able to walk again after 9 months, when he received Jesus in his heart and allowed us to pray for him for a miracle healing! Operations Executive (Facilities) Job Scope As Operations Executive (Facilities), you will assist to ensure operation readiness and sup port to the church and its ministries with direct responsibility in the areas of facilities management, safety and security, and logistics support Responsibilities Responsible for the day-to-day building maintenance by carrying out regular inspections and implementing an effective maintenance program Source for, and manage facilities suppliers and service providers Plan, execute and supervise building upkeep and maintenance carried out by term con tractors and service providers engaged by the church and ensure that services rendered are according to agreed standards and timelines Ensure compliance with government regulations on workplace safety and health and building code. Grow& GO DISCIPLESHIP & NURTURE 1. DISCIPLE 1 Course DISCIPLE 1 Course is a 34-week program of disciplined Bible study aimed at developing disciples of Christ. It covers both the Old and New Testaments with equal time, emphasizing the wholeness of the Bible as the revelation of God. DISCIPLE draws upon insights of scholars, personal Bible reading and study of the participants, and group discussion to aid understanding of the Bible. Commitment and Time Involved: Three and a half to four hours of independent study each week in preparation for weekly group meetings.
