Here we gather to seek, know and express God s love in an open community which embraces diversity. Through the use of language, imagery, and metaphors that are inclusive of gender, sexual orientation, race and ability, we affirm that all of creation bears the image of God. While we are not always successful, this remains an important goal. 1

MOPS Meeting The seniors of First United invite you to attend our Measure of Pleasure (MOP) meeting on Wednesday, January 31 at 1:30pm. Our program will be of interest to all seniors and hear some good hints about keeping safe in this community. We will have refreshments and time for visiting as well. Mystery Friends Project The Mystery Friends Project is designed to build intergenerational connections in our congregation. Adults are paired with a child in Sunday school to exchange letters through the winter and early spring with their "Mystery Pen Pals." In June, we will celebrate with a picnic lunch to solve the mystery and reveal our partners. Deadline to sign up is TODAY. Please contact Suki Vernet with any questions.
