The Stations is a unique project tracing the emotional journey of refugees, provoking reflection and daring us to respond. Drawing on the emotional suffering represented by the traditional 14 Stations of the Cross it encapsulates the experiences and stories of refugees as they embark on a harrowing emotional as well as geographical journey. OFFETORY ENVELOPES The new boxes of envelopes are available in the church foyer. On behalf of the Parish I would like to thank all those of you who Gift Aid your contributions and use envelopes or standing orders. I would also thank all of those who signed up to the scheme last week end. Please do not start using your new envelopes until the 8 th April. These provide a method for regular giving in addition to allowing us to recover the tax paid on their contributions. New and existing parishioners who do not currently use offertory envelopes are encouraged to request a set by contacting Tony Yule (029 20890621). Easter Offerings There is no Parish Collection on Easter Sunday; instead there will be the normal gift for our Parish Priest. For those who have envelopes please use the white envelope. The government allows us to claim gift aid on such gifts subject to the money being paid to the Priest through the parish account. Hence, we ask that all cheques are made payable to All Hallows and not the Parish Priest. PARISH VISITING GROUP We are looking for parishioners, men and women, to join our Visiting Group. If you are interested and can spare about 1 hour a week, please contact Marita Fernandez, the VG Coordinator on 07960206916. APPEAL FOR HELP ALTAR LINEN... We are appealing for help and assistance with the housekeeping of the Altar Linen, now that Gloria has decided to retire. If you would like to help with the laundering of the Altar Linen we would be pleased to hear from you. RAFFLES... Many thanks to those who have donated various items for our Raffles. We are always grateful to receive items that we can use throughout the year at our various fundraising functions. If you have any items that you would consider donating, please could you bring them along and leave in the Church Foyer marked Raffles. ALL HALLOWS ANNUAL SPRING AND EASTER CRAFT FAYRE... SATURDAY 7 TH APRIL 2018... Despite the snow last weekend... Spring is in the Air!!! Everyone is working hard to ensure things are ready for our Annual Parish Spring and Easter Craft Fayre. We hope that you will all come along on the day and see the wonderful array of hand crafted items this

year provided by 24 local artisans. There are many interesting new crafts this year, some traditional, unique and the unusual, all locally produced and created. The craft fayre will start at 12.00 noon. We are hosting a raffle at the event which will be drawn on the Sunday after the Craft Fayre. We are appealing for bottles and plants for the UCM tables, and would be grateful to receive any suitable gifts for Pandora s Box. Calling all the budding chefs and Cake makers in our parish and hope that you are busy making cakes for the Parish Cake Stall. Nothing can beat the taste of homemade cakes!!! Church Cleaning for Easter On Monday 26th, cleaning of the church will take place in readiness for Easter from 10.30am. Anyone who can spare an hour or two to help will be most welcome. Created by a bunch of chums in Manchester in 1908 (with the blessing of Bishop Carsatelli). How could our founding Fathers envisage there would be a creation of 388 circles and groups with around 10,000 members listed in the Catenian International Directory. During of this year all circles will be seeking Mass intentions for vocations to the Priesthood and in November will be seeking Mass intentions for deceased brothers. A Mass on almost every day of the year somewhere around the world. Members of the North Glamorgan local circle will be present at St. Dyfrig s Church on Sunday 25 th for their vocations Mass intentions.
