Giving Thanks To Our Father The crisp weather, the embers of gold leaves, pumpkin everything and not to mention all the turkey and pie you can eat with the ones you love are all reasons to be incredibly grateful! It's also a perfect time to reflect and take inventory of our many blessings that flow directly from our Father. I hope gratitude lives in your heart every day! The scriptures are chockfull of verses on gratitude and praise that we can mediate on daily and share with our family. One of the best ways we can foster gratitude is by being intentional about counting our blessings and praising and thanking God with our children. I hope you will share these daily scriptures leading up to Thanksgiving with your family and you take a moment each day to be amazed by God's awesome love and handprint in your life!
GET YOUR GRATITUDE ON! November 1st 1 Thessalonians 5:18 "Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." November 2nd Psalm 69:30 "I will praise God's name in song and will glorify him with thanksgiving." November 3rd Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, bu in everything by prayer and petition with Thanksgiving and present your requests to God."
November 4th 1 Chronicles 16:34 "Give thanks to the Lord for he is good and his love endures forever." November 5th 1 Timothy 4:4 "For everything God created is good and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer."
