BBC Update New Hampshire Module The Lord blessed with about 21 students studying the book of Joshua in Plymouth, NH. Dr. Chet Kulus was host pastor, and he and his wife Nancy are dear friends in the Lord to Pastor and Mrs. Thomas Strouse. The time of Bible study and fellowship was edifying to all. The passage in Joshua 10:12-13 stirred up a great deal of interest and discussion. The scripture states in a clear and emphatic way, saying, Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. 13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. Bible believers have had no difficulty in believing the Bible in the past as well as today on this passage. The sun, and moon, do indeed move relative to the stationary earth (Pss. 50:1; 93:1; Hab. 3:11; Mt. 5:45). Atheistic evolutionary science consistently denies the Bible and deceives all who depart from belief in the Bible. Christians should reject thus saith Einstein and be satisfied with thus saith the LORD! BBC Update Vol. 6 Num. 15 1 Joshua module in NH. Dr. and Mrs. Strouse in front of Dr. Kulus log home. Devotional Corner Bees Devotional Corner 4 Bees In the summer the bees come out. The Honey Bee in particular is an interesting little creature to watch. It produces its honey, which we take to our delight. On the other hand the yellow-jacket and white-faced hornet, though little are fearsome little creatures with an awful sting when they are disturbed. Pastor Cas Reeves The word bees is only used three times in the Bible. Two of those times it shares the picture of bee-like chasing and swarming (Deuteronomy 1:44; Psalm 118:12) and one time the reference is of honey (Judges 14:8). Reference to the hornet is mentioned twice (Deuteronomy 7:10; Joshua 24:12) as a fierce chaser of men. The other day I took a moment of my time and watched one little honeybee as it went from flower to flower gathering her pollen and pollinating. As I mused over this little bee, I couldn t help but think that it was faithfully doing exactly what God intended it to do. I wondered as Christians are we doing exactly what God wants us to do? Are we pollinating the world around us with the gospel. -CAR Quotes From the Past: Abraham Lincoln 1809-1865 16th President of the USA Abraham Lincoln Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God s side, for God is always right.
