Operetta at the Cathedral The Kentucky Opera Studio Artists and the Cathedral of the Assumption Choir will present a concert version of Gian Carlo Menotti s beloved operetta, Amahl and the Night Visitors on Friday, November 16 at 7:30 PM at the Cathedral of the Assumption. This is a free performance that tells the story of the night the Three Kings followed the star to Bethlehem. They stopped for shelter at the home of Amahl, a poor, crippled shepherd boy who lives with his widowed mother.
